The crew came 45 minuter before their scheduled time. The brought enough equiptment to do a properity three times the size. They completed the job in 1/2 the time they estimated. They actually did a little more than I expected without an extra charge. If you are looking for simular work to be done, look no further than Better Tree Service.LLC

Better Tree Service did a great job. We had two very large old oak trees cut down in our backyard, and a third oak tree trimmed back away from our roof. Oliver, one of the owners of the company, was there the entire time, along with 5 other employees. Oliver was actually the one who did the tree climbing and cutting. We were very impressed with his skill and work. Not only did he climb two really tall trees in the backyard, but he was also able to trim back the third oak tree, which hung over our house, without any branches hitting our roof. As a team, they had a good system in place that allowed them to worked efficiently together and get this big job done in one day. They were very professional and friendly. We would use them again in the future, and have already recommended them to one of our neighbors.

We called for an estimate on having some tree branches cut down that were hanging over the roof of the house. They were very responsive and Oliver came out the next day and gave us the estimate, which was very reasonable. When we agreed on it, he said he could be out here in 2 days, and it was actually 1 day!
They came when they said they would (a little early), did the work, cleaned up.
I spoke with Oliver about a couple of other trees I had questions about and he gave me good advice (not just and quot;looking-for-businessand quot; advice). He was very pleasant and seemed very knowledgeable. I would definitely use them in the future.

The company was great!

This company has restored my faith in professionalism. I called for an estimate on Monday and the owner arrived at my house within hours. I had called 3 companies for estimates. Better Tree was the first to respond and their price was so reasonable I immediately signed on the dotted line without consulting with the other 2 companies. The crew was at my house Thursday morning doing the job. They did an outstanding job and left my yard, driveway, and street cleaner than it was before they had arrived.
I've had large trees removed before and friends and family members have also had trees removed. I can tell you that this company far exceeded anything I've seen before. I definitely am recommending them to everyone I know. My son has already called them about removing 2 trees from his property.

THEY ARRIVED ABOUT TWO HOURS LATE ON OVERALL SCHEDUALED TIME. THEY ARRIVED WITH SIX MEN AND IN ABOUT AN HOUR BOTH THREES WERE CUT DOWN AND STUMPS GRINED DOWN. THEY CLEANED AND RACKED THE INTIRE AREA AND HAULED AWAY ALL WOOD CHIPS. CLEANED MY DRIVEWAY OF ALL SPILLED SAWDUST. I WOULD HONESTLEY SAY THEY CLEANED UP SO WELL YOU WOULD HARDLEY KNOW THEY WERE HERE. ALL SIX MEN WORKED VERY HARD OF WHAT I SAW. I WISH THAT I HAD MORE MONEY AND MORE TREES TO CUT DOWN SO THAT I COULD USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN

Oliver, the owner was at the job and was very professional. Also the lowest quote that I got and I got a few quotes from different services. Couldn't be happier with the quality of work.

Great service and very professional. Ray and Oliver came out promptly to give us an estimate. It was reasonable and since we read the ratings on Angie's list we didn't hesitate to go with them. We agreed on a date and time (1PM) but due to inclement weather they called to come out earlier (10AM). Oliver was a complete gentleman. Oliver instructed his worker to place boards on my pavers so they would not get damaged - WOW. They were organized, fast, cleaned up the property perfectly that you could not tell they were there. We would definitely use and recommend Better Tree to our neighbors (and we did). Our trees look great! Thanks again.

came out and gave me estimate. Gave them job. Very professional. Boss came down to make sure he was happy with work that was being done. Team was a well oiled machine . Work was excellent. They were less costly vs. others that gave me estimates. Clean up was fantastic. Great job all around. Will definitely use them for other work I need done.

Another company (highly rated on Angie's list) quoted $4000 for the same job, stating they would require a crane to remove the large tree that was situated between the deck and fence, very close to the house. Better Tree removed all of the limbs and branches, then cut the tree into sections and removed it. It took about 3 hours. Very professional and great work. Highly responsive and effective.

Ray came over on Saturday to give me an estimate for trimming three large trees. He quoted $900.00 which seemed a fair price because he was somewhat restricted by the netting that enclosed much of the area where the limbs would fall. I called him later that day to arrange for the work to be done whenever he could schedule it. I received a call back on Monday from Oliver arranging for the work to be done on Wednesday. They showed up slightly after 7:30 AM with a full crew that included both principals, Ray and Oliver. After confirming what was to be done the work began. It was done quickly and professionally. I was sufficiently impressed to ask for additional quotes on removal of the shrubs that were threatening to overwhelm my enclosure and removal of a smaller tree that was encroaching the garage roof. We agreed on an extra $550.00 to correct these problems. I was very pleased with the entire crew with the care they took to work within the boundaries of my enclosed space. Everyone concerned was professional and adept at their job. I would not hesitate to use this company again and would readily recommend them to anyone else.

Spoke with owner Ray who was very personable and honest. Took time to evaluate all the work needed and gave me a good quote which was May 14. They were there May 18 on time and ready to work. The head of the Crew (Oliver) went through everything and I asked if addl work could be done which they did at a very reasonable amount (See above). While all the workers were really good only have a complaint about one. When grinding was done asked Oliver if he would have them even out the mulch against my fence which was not a problem and he told one of the workers when later I noticed he just put all the mulch behind my bush. (he took the batch from one side and just dumped to another, all clumped together). Then he was suppose to trim magnolia tree and I was glad I was looking out window as he was going to cut off limps and not just shape. Had to yell out window for him to stop.
Overall will definitely hire again but this time will definitely keep eye out for that one particular worker. Both Ray and Oliver were gems.

A whole crew showed up, everyone very focused on their job at hand. For the amount of work the had to do they did it very quickly (though it still took most of the day).
Using a cherry picker, they methodically cut some very tall trees into maneageable pieces, and chipped them onsite.
Overall I'm pleased with their work. My one complaint is that they obliterated my new lawn. When I got the estimate I was told they would lay down boards so the truck tires wouldn't ruin my lawn, I realized too late that they actually didn't do that. I'll definitely use them again, but I'll just have to be present to insist they take the proper precautions to safeguard as much of my backyard as possible.
