SCYMANSKI ENTERPRISE INC

We are victims of Super Storm Sandy. Our home was literally crushed by 100+ ft. high trees which destroyed our roof and did extensive damage to the interior of our home. Mr. Barry Scymanski, of Alpine Roofing, came to our home twice and made all kinds of promises and claims about being a certified GAF Master installer and professional roofer in our area for 30 years. Knowing our vulnerable situation and our faith, he also claimed to be a devote Christian and told us that his children were in the same Catholic Academy as our child. He was also well aware of the conditions we've been forced to live in since Super Storm Sandy and asked for a $6,000 check to hold a spot on his "job calendar." He said he was not going to cash the check until the details of the contract were finalized and he was going to provide us with the proper documents we requested from him. My husband immediately tried to contact him numerous times about the contract and Barry Scymanski refused to return his calls and texts. We then found out that he had lied to us. He had, in fact, immediately cashed the check before we had finalized the contract. Based on his cashing the check, his unprofessional behavior, his unresponsiveness and his blatant lies, we told him and his wife that we didn't want to hire them and wanted our good faith deposit back immediately. He and his wife, Tawnie Scymanski, who is the President of Alpine Roofing, have refused to return our $6,000 deposit. We have contacted the local, state and federal authorities and are currently in the process of filing consumer fraud complaints as well as a price gouging complaint and insurance fraud against both Mr. and Mrs. Scymanski. It is now October 2013 and Barry and Tawnie Scymanski have stolen our Sandy insurance money and delayed the rebuilding of our home. ANGIE'S LIST DOES NOT GIVE AS MUCH WEIGHT TO OUR EXPERIENCE AND REVIEW BECAUSE ALPINE ROOFING NEVER DID ANY WORK FOR US. MR. AND MRS. SCYMANSKI SIMPLY CASHED OUR GOOD FAITH $6,000 DEPOSIT AND NEVER DID ANY WORK FOR US. ALPINE ROOFING HAS PROBABLY ALREADY LOST MUCH MORE IN BUSINESS THAN WHAT THEY STOLE FROM US AND THEY WILL LOSE A LOT MORE BUSINESS AND PUBLIC EXPOSURE THROUGH OUR LEGAL ACTIONS IN THE COMING MONTHS. DO NOT BELIEVE ANY POSITIVE RATINGS OR REVIEWS ON THIS SITE RELATED TO THIS COMPANY. THESE ARE PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO MORALS AND DON'T CARE ABOUT THE RAMIFICATIONS OF THEIR ILLEGAL ACTIONS OR THE DESTRUCTION OF THEIR FAMILY NAME AND BUSINESS. ANYONE WHO WOULD WRITE A POSITIVE REVIEW ABOUT ALPINE ROOFING R THE SCYMANSKI'S AFTER READING WHAT THESE SANDY FRAUDSTERS DID TO US CAN NOT BE TRUSTED AS A VALID REVIEW.
