Tidewater Workshop

After ordering a bench from Tidewater Workshop on July 16, 2009 (& canceling for lack of delivery) on September 23, 2009. I spent the next eight months trying to get a refund. I e-mailed them repeatedly and tried calling. I only spoke one time to them on the phone. No one would answer or call back. I finally contacted the New Jersey Attorney Generals Offfice, they in turn sent my information to their consumers affairs department. The first of April. 2010, with their help, I finally had my $90.00 refunded to my charge card. I don't think I would have gotten my money back without the help of their office. It took eight months to get the issue resolved. I will never order from this company again, nor would I recommend them.

I am still waiting for a word about my $90.00 refund. And will continue to call daily and email them. I am most unhappy over my dealings with this company and will NEVER recommend or use them again.

I asked why they had gone ahead and charged my credit card when they knew that the order would not be processed for another month. I asked why I was never given the courtesy of an email or a phone call to let me know why the order was so late. The CS rep told me that they always charge the credit card right away regardless, and that they never inform customers about delays. Needless to say, I canceled the order.
