They did a poor job sanding after the installation. So the stain and final finish coats were rushed. I have try for months to get Ray to come back and he has not. This was a 10K job - Stay away

Ray's team is phenomenal. We wanted to replace carpets with ceramic tiles in the basement, and Ray was among the few that responded right away to the project requests and emails. He was also not pushy about hiring them because he understood that his initial visit was quoting the project, which would result in homeowners comparing bids before locking in. His team did an amazing job laying the ceramic tiles. We love how it turned out with their attention to detail and cleaning up their workspace to show that they take pride in their work. I highly recommend Ray's for flooring projects and would hire again for another project in the future.

I actually did both refinish and install with Ray. I replaced the carpet in my family room with new flooring, which he purchased to match the existing flooring in the hallway, dining room and office. I had the hallway/dining/office flooring and staircase refinished. Everything matched perfect - it looked like it was always there. There was a minor imperfection and Ray had the guy come back and fix it until I was 100% satisfied. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is having him paint the risers, not the best with paint, a little tiny specks of splatter I had to clean up, but perfect for stain/install/everything else. And can't beat the price - he beat everyone else by a lot.

Ray was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He advised us against using the laminate flooring we had purchased because of the condition of the subfloor. We chose hardwood and the floors look awesome! He also finished the staircase beautifully! I would definitely recommend Ray and his team!

Rey has done the floors at two houses for use in the past 4 years and both turned out great. Our first home still looks like new 4 years later. He was able to match our homes original 1950's hardwood and blend it into the existing wood perfectly. He is prompt, explained all the options and was a joy to work with during our renovations.

Ray and his partner who completed the carpet removal and new engineered hardwood floors in our home were spot on. They removed the carpet, picked up the new material and installed the glue down hardwood floors exactly as they informed us within a two and half day period. What impressed me the most was, I was having some work done to my doorway, Ray could not finish the moulding on my laminate floor until that work was completed. When the laminate flooring was installed in the winter it was done quickly and everything looked great. Then, 3 months later when it got hot outside, the flooring expanded and came up in waves in several places. We called Ramon, who came out within a day and fixed the issue by removing the shoe moldings and cutting some of the laminate along the wall. Everything was smoothed out and is looking good again. We will just need to repaint the shoe moldings.

Ray was very prompt in following up on communications. His price was very reasonable. The work was absolutely beautiful. We had wood floors installed in 3 bedrooms and we had existing flooring in the hallway. He matched the stain perfectly with no transitions - you cannot tell that the flooring was installed at separate times. I would highly recommend him.

Ray recently installed hardwood flooring throughout our 1st floor with no transitions. We couldn’t be happier! Ray was punctual, clean, polite and an expert at his work. He answered questions about concerns I might have had and put me at ease. He was efficient and extremely quick, finishing the job in a day some time the next morning finishing shoe molding and cleaning. I would definitely recommend Ray and we are already planning the next phase with him to refinish our carpeted steps into hardwood to follow upstairs. Great job Ray!

Ray did a great job installing the laminate flooring we purchased on our own at a very reasonable rate. Rather than just doing what we asked, he provided suggestions based on his expertise which we appreciated the most. He cleaned up after the installation as well! He was clean neat job on time did more than I expected great job

I just purchased a new house in East Brunswick and it's a split level. The entire bottom level needed new flooring and I was considering taking on the job myself. But I had so much other work to do, so I thought I'd get a few quotes. When Ray walked in the door my entire family, including my 3 dogs, really liked him. After he looked at the job he told us he'd have a quote that evening. His quote was a great price and we decided to go with him. From the moment he started work he didn't stop and I was amazed at how meticulous he was about every detail. He finished the job in a day and a half and the end result was fantastic!!!! That was a big project and I'm so glad I hired a professional. I can't say enough about Ray as a person and his workmanship. If you're considering having your floors done, Ray is the man!!!!!
