ATLANTIC KITCHEN & BATH

I instructed them on my requested layout and design needs.  Cabinets were ordered that did not meet my expectations, and instead of ordering the correct sizes and requirements, they consistently attempted to retro fit everything, which often made it worse.  For instance, I did not want any vertical bars inside the cabinets, yet they installed several cabinets with them.  When I asked why they did that, they said they had to because of the width!  I did not ask for such wide cabinets.  Things were crooked and workmanship was shoddy.  Days went by with no communication from the company, nor did workers show up.  I was intentionally misinformed about the status of the work, and was left hanging without follow-up.  For instance, light fixtures were removed from the ceiling and were not reinstalled for 2 months.  It was OK with them that I had no working light in the work areas.  I had to have a neighbor come over and install my dining area fixture.  In fact, I had to have others come to do the work they neglected to do. (their sheetrock guys covered the smoke detector inside the ceiling!)   They were messy, in fact, the carpenter ruined the balcony floor and no attempt was made by Atlantic to fix or replace it.  The electrician drilled in my linen closet without covering or emptying all my linens in it, and they all had to be emptied out and washed due to the sawdust mess.  They sold me a lighting product for under the cabinets that they did not even fully understand.  I do not think the man assigned to my job was capable, nor do I believe the owner supervised the job sufficiently. They were disrespectful of my needs while I was living in a construction zone.  My calls and texts were ignored.  A 6 week job sputtered along for 9 months until I could not stand it anymore.  At one point, I complained to the BetterBusiness Bureau, but Atlantic ignored the communication.  This was my third kitchen renovation and by far the worst.  Oh, and they knew I had 2 bathrooms that needed renovation.  Even that was not an incentive to finish the kitchen in a professional timely fashion!  I would not recommend them for anything!
