We were going to use the home as a duplex. Zoning issues came up, but we stuck with the original plan and put a staircase in. There's actually a complete apartment upstairs. I would advise against using this company unless you have some really iron-clad agreements drawn up. The manufacturer went out of business right after the crash. They are still in business in Indiana. We had a warranty, but it was only for a year. I thought a homeowner's warranty was supposed to be for ten years, but apparently not. We had them come back over time, but they would never finish fixing a problem we had with a leaky roof. They redid the front of the house, but they never resolved the problem.
