Ted was recommended to us by another Angie's List company. Ted is a General Contractor and we weren't sure if our job would be too small for him. Fortunately, it was not. Ted returned my call promptly and set up an appointment within 3 days to come out and look at the job. Within 5 days, he got back to us with an estimate and dropped off sample hardwoods for us to look at. We signed a contract that same week and the work was scheduled for the following week. One thing that impressed me about Ted was that he accepted our down payment check but advised that he would not deposit it for 72 hours since, legally, we could back out of the contract during that period. I know that this information is always boilerplate in the contract but was impressed that he also told us orally. The work was completed in one day and we are very pleased with the end product and, in fact, plan to have Ted do our family room in January.
