 + 0 moreI hired Dale Lagoda to renovate my main bathroom. We agreed on a start date of mid June so the project would be finished by the time my adult children move back home in late August. His quoted price was reasonable and included the tub, toilet, 2 sinks and stone counter top; however, when he presented the contract he excluded the tub, toilet, sinks and counter top ( adding $3000 to the price of the project.) June 11, I scheduled a meeting to go over everything. At that time, he told me he ran into problems on the current job and needed to push my start date to July 6. In the beginning of July, he pushed the start date to July 13. He procrastinated with filing the permit application so on July 13, he emailed me "permit should be ready soon." I felt he was being less than honest dealing with me which offended him and on July 14, he wrote "I think its best if you find another contractor."
Description of Work: He was supposed to renovate the main bathroom.

 + 0 moreDale & his crew. were here every day from start to finish, no surprises and prices were exactly as expected and the estimate. Looks fabulous! Have used him several times!!
Description of Work: Completely gutted our finished basement after flood/hurricane Irene. Dale, came "running" as soon as I called to help remove moldy smelly soaking wet carpet and got right to work. They do honest top quality work every time.
