Outstanding. The team was prompt and professional.

The American Oak crew arrived right on time at 8am and immediately started work. I was impressed that each guy seemed to know exactly what his role was. By end of the day (5 pm) they had removed the carpeting, sanded the floors and applied the first coat of polyurethane. They returned a few days later to apply the finish coat which only took a few hours. The finished floors came out beautiful and my wife and I are totally satisfied.

Moved into a new house with hardwood floors in okay condition, but wanted to get them refinished to start it the right way. It was a little less than 1000sqft and Dmitry and the team were exceptionally professional and communicative throughout the process. The team was punctual, easy to accommodate and did an amazing job. It is very reassuring to be able to hire a local business and still get outstanding quality and competitive prices.

Couldn't have gone better. From initial contact through application of the final finish coating, every single employee was punctual, professional, affable and incredibly skilled. When they were done, there wasn't a pack of dust to be found. It was hard to believe that any work had taken place.

Dmitriy and his crew was excellent, they were professional and on time and communication was easy. Price of the work done is good. He came right away to check on the floor after calling him and he gave us a detailed estimate of the work to be done and he was able to schedule the work right away. His crew did a great job and cleaned up when they left. I am very satisfied with the quality of work done and will hire them again. Highly recommended.

Dimitri and his guys were excellent they arrive right on time the first day and were very courteous and helpful when selecting the color stain , the guys came right in and starting working and had my house ready in 3 days I was amazed at their quality of work and how quickly they had moved. Scheduling was easy and best of all finished ahead of schedule. Communication was easy. Quote submitted on a timely fashion. This was the simplest part of my new home renovations thanks to AOH! Dmitri was a pleasure to work with and so was his partner. Above all quality was above average. Very clean job and did not stain my freshly painted white molding.

Dmitriy came out to the house and advice us the nosing installation, floor moldings and curve molding. He helped us to make the right decision on the floor layout and material. After meeting with Dmitriy and receiving an estimate next day the work was schedule next day after estimate approval. The installers were on site on time. They advised us on the planks size and layout, raisers and joins. During the day Dmitriy stop by to ensure that works goes smoothly and asked us if we have any questions or concern. We were surprised when they layout the planks on the floor first and asked us if we like it or not before they started nailing it down. They completed the work to our highest satisfactions. They cleaned the rooms and vacuumed after the finished. If we need to will hire them again. If looking for quality work you should hire American Oak Floors and contact Dmitriy for any advice.

Very well. Dmitriy came and had a look and came up with a solution. The new floor looks fantastic and nobody notices that the two floors are different unless we told them (and even then they have to look hard). His team came on time, did great work and cleaned up when they left. You usually get what you pay for and the added expense was well worth it to solve a tough problem.

They did a very nice job, and were professional throughout. Dimitriy, the owner, was responsive and prompt with information and answering questions. There was one issue with the scope of the work which cost an extra $150 that I'll chalk up to a misunderstanding. On the whole, though, I would definitely recommend his services.

American Oak did an excellent job installing new hardwood flooring in what was a somewhat complicated operation. They provided courteous service and accomplished the job on schedule. I am very satisfied with the quality of the installation and service.

Extremely professional and reliable, excellent pricing, and very skilled installation.  They provided me with valuable information  on how best to proceed with the installation job.   They take pride in their work and the new wood floor looks beautiful.  I would most certainly will use American Oak Hardwood Floors for future work.  Highly recommended.

American Oak, installed my floors about 13 yrs ago, I was very happy with the company and the great job they did...so when I was in need of repairs and refinishing, I didn't hesitate to call them. There was no need, in my opinion to get any other estimates,as I know from the past that they do quality work!
We were in a position that we needed the floors done fast.  I called and D[metrey came the same day, and was very co-operative,professional,and willing to fit us into his schedule ASAP!  He was most willing to explain everything in detail and answered all our questions, so that we knew exactly what to expect.
 
The estimate was emailed the same day!
They came today, exactly on time, and finished the job in one day! The workers were excellent and did a fantastic job, and left no mess whatsoever!  The repairs that were made are flawless..the refinishing made my floors look brand new!  I am very happy with American Oak Floors, and would highly recommend them to friends,family and anyone on Angies list looking for quality work at a very fair price!

American Oak did a fantastic job on my very old Yellow Pine hard floor on my two bedrooms and hallway.  It was a rushed job. Dimitry was able to fit me into his schedule. Dimitry visited the house as scheduled to do the walk thru.
Dimitry was pleasant as he explained to us the pros and cons of what we wanted to do with the floor.  Dimitry emailed a professional quote within two hours of the walk thru.  I wanted a third Poly Coat but Dimitry stated that two Poly coats would be more than enough. He was right, the floor looks beautiful with only two coats.  The work quote contained an additional line for a third coat so there would not be any surprises at the end.
The crew were on time all the time, extremely pleasant, provided instructions as what not to do while drying and future maintenance of the floors.
I would use their services again and have recommended American Oak to my friends.

Dimitriy responded to my inquiry right away and was able to pop in for an estimate shortly after.  His price was very competitive and he was able to be flexible with us and our tight schedule.  The crew came on-time and finished promptly.  The floors look absolutely beautiful.  We decided to leave them natural without doing a stain and glad that we did!!!

The floor crew were punctual, knowledgeable, pleasant and exhibited a great work ethic and cleaned everything up. Dmitriy checked the progress in person several times over the ten days and I had his cell number in case I needed him. He did a final walk through at the job completion to make sure everything was as we expected. The finish was beautiful and I would hire him again.
