WOHLERT LANDSCAPING

I have an extensive downward slope to my back yard and over the years a considerable amount of erosion has occurred. In order to stop this and provide a more stable walking surface, I contacted Wohlert Landscaping. The owner came out when he promise and we discussed the general plan and the options. One plan was to use 6" X 6" landscaping timbers running the entire length of the back of the house and provide a more level area to fill in. The height of the retaining structure would be no higher than 30 inches so that no railing would be required. The other option was to do the same thing but with concrete blocks. He gave me some ball park numbers and agreed to provide the final quotes shortly.
Within a few days he provided the quotations for both options. The cost was actually less than his rough estimate and I made my choice for the landscape timbers. He was able to start the job approximately one week later.
The whole job from start to finish took 2 days. Everyone was very professional and the final look was excellent. You could see the care that was taken with the installation to provide not only a very functional design but also a very pleasing appearance.
I am very happy with the overall project.
