Ernie was absolutely awesome to work with. We live in an old house and the original railing was built into the foundation making it a very tricky job. On top of the that, the staircase runs from the main floor up to the third floor and has 6 posts that hadn't been moved in over 100 years. Ernie did all the work himself and finished the job in 3 days. The posts came out beautifully and we could not be more pleased. On top of the work, Ernie is a great guy and we enjoyed chatting with him each day. Highly recommended!

Ernie was fantastic and we could not be more pleased. He helped us choose some beautiful oak and metal railing components to make a very stylish replacement for our old wrought iron railings. His work is nothing short of master craftsmanship. The new railings turned out so beautiful, were so sold and secure and were installed with perfection, looking like they were part of our home forever. His communications, safety amid the COVID crisis and pricing left us completely pleased. He finished just a bit ahead of schedule and offered a reduced price. We insisted on paying the originally quoted price.

It took Ernie a bit to get back to me and schedule an appointment but once he got here things went smoothly. The price was great and the end product turned out beautiful.

He came for an estimate on October 3rd. Called that evening with estimate. Was able to perform services on October 11th. We were very pleased with his work and professionalism.

Ernie from Royal Oak Railing did a phenomenal job building our stairs and handrail. I interviewed about five stair and railing carpenters and after some serious considerations we chose Royal Oak Railing. Ernie called me back right away came to my home on time and had a very impressive portfolio of his work. He sent me a very competitive proposal the next day. I even asked him to come back to my house a second time because we changed our mind about the style we wanted and he was very accommodating.

When it was time to start the work the guy showed up 7:30 am each day and clearly gave us an impression of a very professional, skilled, and hard worker.

I am completely happy with the way my project turned out. Investing in a new stair and railing system can be a significant financial investment and I wanted the best installer to do the job and I feel I got him.
