"Responding to Mr [Consumer Name Removed]. If you read our reviews we are mostly all 5 star. This unfortunate incident reflects the individual themselves as the quality of person he is (click his name on google reviews) . That being said where to being? This job was quoted and installed to the letter of the contract. Mr [Consumer Name Removed] did not want to wait till the permit process had gone through as he was getting his car in a few days. As caring company we filed the necessary permits for his charger next day after contract signing, and scheduled his install under a necessary install. The charger was to be inspected once the permits were approved as they could take up to 20 business days. All equipment quoted was installed my crew worked efficiently and professionally and he had his charger ready to use when done. He thanked us and told me when the permits were ready he would get them to schedule his Charger inspection. About a week later the building inspector for the town called and because he had a generator on the property that another calculation would had to have been done. With the new charger he was slightly over what the generator could handle if under full load. This means we had to do additional work in order to satisfy what the inspector asked to bring the load under what the generator could handle. Contact was made with the Owner and explained a shedding module would need to be installed. The additional work was schedule with parts (a generator load module) and labor. The Crew showed up to do the work, and impatiently again he asked how long the job would take (before even beginning). The guys ballparked it under normal conditions. When said and done it was about 2 hours. The Owner asked information about the unit and my guys explained its purpose, tested it for him cleaned their area and left with a thank you and praise from the owner. Now that there is a bill to pay for the additional work that was not in the original scope due to not waiting for the town for give their final say An addition part and time was necessitated by the change because the owner was impatient to begin with to wait for the proper channels to approve. The work he was billed for was parts and 2hrs labor for a 2 man crew. Job is done, safe, meeting inspectors request and ready for a final so there are no issues. Both times was all praise at the end and now he as to blast our company for doing the additional work. The contract he signed states he would be for anything additional. The "mess" maybe tiny bit of dust and a scrap of two in a garage all major areas were cleaned and no installation debris was left. After stating he would not pay my labor, then not pay any of it, he felt 250 was fair. After a discussion I countered with $310 for materials and 1 hr labor (initial bill 425 with 2 hrs) . The owner said if i did not bend to what he was willing to pay he would a bad review, and since reading my initial response finds it necessary to leave bad reviews for me in different places as I was not even hired for his job through Angi's. I am a man of principal and my service crews are courteous, efficient, skilled and professional. Good people can read through the BS of others and here we are. Some people expect everything for nothing. I give the owner 1 star and say contractor beware as you can see he hardly every leaves a good review of someone"
