Just Wood Floors

They were really good. They came in and stripped the floors, they got rid of whatever coating that the previous owner did. They shaved down the wood, which they call screening, then they fixed it in to perfection, stained the wood and applied the coating on it we went with a matte finish. Their price was good, they were professional and we pretty much got what we paid for but we were not wowed by them but I would recommend them because I had other people come in with their prices that were insane and the things that they were recommending did not seem necessary for this house. This guy was accommodating, he was good with our pet, we had to like move things out and do one room at a time so that was a little bit of a challenge. He was good.

Ty was clean, neat, personable and thorough. He did a really amazing job and put a lot of care into the job. We would use him again in a heartbeat and recommend him without reservation! On top of doing a top-notch job, he is a truly nice guy.

Ty was great to work with. He came by and did an estimate on a day that was convenient for both of us. He arrived when he said he would and we discussed options regarding a finish on the existing hardwood and recommended a solution for the kitchen. He took measurements and then called a few days later with the estimate. The estimate was in line with our budget so we scheduled the work for a week later. We provided a deposit in advance for materials. Ty and his employee Gary arrived on time and worked efficiently and smart. We had to clear two bedrooms full of furniture and they were very kind helping us with that. When they removed the existing carpet they bundled it neatly for hauling. They sanded the floors and brought them back to their original luster -- they look fantastic. For the kitchen he recommended a 3-1/4 inch Oak with a natural stain. He laid it in a nice random pattern and stained it with a natural finish. We also realized that we would need a new baseboard in the kitchen and he created something out of existing wood he had on hand which saved us some money but resulted in a great look. I would definitely recommend Ty and Just Wood Floors.

We are readying our home of 33 years to sell and have been advised to remove wall to wall carpeting. Mr. Tanis looked at the project and gave us a quote. Cautiously, we asked a couple of other floor refinishers to also quote the job. Each of them said they would have to replace some of the flooring. Just Wood Floors had said he might have to replace some boards but would try not to. His price was very competitive, and his personable approach and high recommendation from our trusted handyman won the job. He did the work while we were out of town and kept us informed of the progress. The floors are beautiful and we are very glad we used Just Wood Floors to do the work.
