Brendan was pleasant and responsive to work with but we were left with a mixed feeling on the quality of job. When they said they were completed after just a day and a half, I was concerned that the poly was very thin since I could still see open grain in the oak. When I questioned them, they agreed to come back the next day to do another coat of poly. Once the additional coat was done, the quality on the central part of the floors appeared very good. We were disappointed with the quality of the sanding around the walls, in the corners, and on the stair treads. We were also disappointed with the mess they made of the walls and trim. I understand that the trim is going to get some poly on it but I do not accept black marks from the sander handles on the painted walls. For things I would have done differently, I would have insisted on a written estimate, I would have visited them while they were working more, and I would have had them include an expectation of damage to the walls in their estimate. They were just a little cheaper than another estimate but I would have paid a few hundred dollars more for a better experience.
