 + 0 moreI live on a five-family driveway and we got three estimates. We took his as the middle estimate. The price sounded reasonable. His name is Joseph. He?s a real nice, clean Italian guy and he talks a good game. And he made a mess. And when I tried to take him to small claims court, he wouldn?t accept the registered letter. And I happen to know he?s had a lot of court experiences. He?s a smooth talker and he goes around hunting up business but he doesn?t have supervisors. This is about 350 feet of driveway in a T-shape and I come home and there is all these guys running along on little machines. They plastered up a manhole cutter, they proudly widened the driveway but they didn?t put anything under it so we have cracks down it, they didn?t put any substrata. He?s really slippery and that?s how he stays in business. If you ask him for reference, he?ll probably give his cousins?.

 + -1 moreIt was a real mess. He paved over a man hole. He had to come out with a metal detector to dig up the man hole. They didn't put any base, trap rock, underneath. He merged our driveway into another which caused issues for us as well. We tried to send him a certified letter but they rejected it because we were going to sue him for these issues. He was slick up front but no follow through
