Griff & George from New Horizons are the original "general"contractors.  They replaced a front porch on my Victorian home last year that looked like furtniture when they completed it, it was so good.  They recommended a terrific mason and a great painter to do additional work needed to finish the porch.  They preserved certain elements of the old porch, which were quite intricate, including them in the new work.  These guys are true craftsmen.

While their stock in trade is larger jobs like kitchen and bath remodels, as well as porches and decks, once they do a job for someone, you are a client for life.  George has come to my house to replace a 50 cent washer in my tub faucet!  They installed a vent fan in my bathroom that no other contractor would do because the roof is so steeply pitched.  They put in a beautiful tile backsplash in my kitchen that has upgraded the whole room.  They've installed crown molding in my home, and most recently put a custom-ordered french door into my spare room (no easy task in an old house with no "right angles").

Griff and George are intelligent, imaginative, personable and most important, extremely good at what they do.  Careful and very willing to work with a homeowner to come up with creative solutions.  Extremely reliable and trustworthy - I am comfortable giving them access to my home whether I am here or not.
