My first experience with Hugin Construction was a year ago. I found them on Google as a siding contractor who was local. We had done changes to the front of our house. He was able to match the type and color of the vinyl siding and did a perfect job making the repairs look seamless.
This time we had a couple of things for them to do. First, we had squirrels in the eaves of our house. We got the squirrels out humanely but we needed the damage repaired.
Also we asked him about replacing the two living room windows facing the street. We live on a busy street and the windows leaked, didn't work well and above all let in a lot of noise. John recommended what he considered the best window on the market. He ordered them and installed them in two hours. The are very sturdy and well made, and cut the noise down quite a bit. Plus no more cold leakage. It was a brand I never heard of available only to contractors. I never would have found them on my own.
Hugin is listed as a siding contactor but they do other jobs large and small. He and his guys did a lot of prep work to make sure they fitted perfectly.
I got the impression from my first meeting that this company is very reputable. I have a lot of home improvements myself including some big jobs so I know he is being honest. I would recommend him to anyone.
