Dynamic Air Heating & Cooling

One day before the end of the hot season my AC went down. My neighbor told me that he had service from Dynamic Air (DA). He did not recommend DA, but I set an appointment. This mistake cost me $500. Contrary to his advertising John did not offer free estimation. If I would know his price in the beginning I would be never hire John. Later I checked for what service I paid. 1) Added 3lb R-22 for $450. Max price for Freon is $35/lb or $105 for 3 lb, John charged $350 extra. I do not know why John used this magic number 3 lb, because he did not weight cylinder before and after work. 2) Connected the Booster SPP6 for $125. Max price for SPP6 is $17, John charged $100 extra. 3) For 30 minutes of talk and work John charged $180 I don't question John’s professional experience - he can work as well as others. I want to say, that DA is very expensive company that makes money on selling parts for inflated prices but service. I do not recommend having business with DA.

Excellent overall experience. Having called several different companies to start, John, the owner, responded to me very quickly and we set up a free estimate the next day. He was punctual, respectful and incredibly helpful. He evaluated the system, confirmed a replacement system was necessary, provided insight into my options and followed up the next day, as promised, with quotes based on the different options discussed. Overall price was almost $4,000 less than the closest quote for a relatively comparable system. Having hired John for the job, we scheduled the work for the following Monday. Guys showed up on time, very professional, ensured they were very clean and protected the house in advance. Did the work quick, efficiently and my house is now incredibly cool (we were in a heat wave..). Additionally, while there, we added an April Air system (humidifier built into the heating system, tapped directly into a waterline so there's limited to no maintenance) and having expressed that one particular room doesn't get enough heat, John and team are coming back to add a couple additional vents to rectify my problem (different scope of work obviously). Overall my experience with John and crew was excellent. I would recommend him to anybody.

Our experience with Dynamic Air went great. John, the owner of Dynamic Air, personally came to view the property and give his recommendation on unit size. I trusted his professional opinion because our neighbors used his company 8 or 9 years ago and their unit still works very well. Dynamic Air's price was fair and the installation was done in a few hours. Because the property is an investment property, our concern was energy efficiency. John recommended a system that will cut monthly costs and after a 12 month period with the new unit, I've seen us paying hundreds of dollars less. We highly recommend Dynamic Air.

Overall, it was good. It was an emergency, our air was totally down and there was the heat wave. We had another quote and the pricing was the same so that's fine. They squeezed us in because we had no air and they installed it the next day.

They did a competent job. However, they indicated that they would return to "level" the air flow. They did not return to do that. In addition, they promised a programmable thermostat, even wrote that in the contract, when they provided a non-programmable, I reminded them of the contract. When they did not return, I wrote a letter requesting the thermostat. They called back and said they would be over in a few days. That was 18 months ago!

It was okay. We have two units, but the other unit didn't need any cleaning. The price may have been right but the guy was sleazy. I was not very pleased. I think it was not priced fairly. It was pricey for the amount of work he put in.

Dynamic was fantastic. The owner’s sons, John & Anthony, came out for both parts of the job. They were both very friendly. They loved my dogs and would play with them. They both insisted on cleaning up thoroughly. They actually left my backyard and basement cleaner than they when they arrived. We plan to use them in the future.

I found Jon's company in the phone book and called because I liked the idea of a family owned and run company. Was I surprised when he actually answered the phone! Not once did I call Jon that he didn't answer the phone. He came when he said he'd come and finished the job before he said it would be done. He and his men are very professional, respectful of my property and perfectionists. I can't believe I was so lucky. I would recommend him to anyone. And his prices are excellent.
