Prakash and Vaishali from VXL services have always been very responsive and turn around very quickly to respond to all the queries that I have had. The full service payroll has made the entire process painless for me where I do not have to worry about missing any State or Federal tax submission deadlines. The annual tax filing is also done quickly since my payroll and tax information is already available with them. I also get my personal taxes done through VXL which is done at a very reasonable rates and they are able to provide complete written down information and instruction to me if there are any items that I need to take care of personally. I am extremely satisfied with their services and always recommend them to my friends whenever they need any assistance.

It was generally a very poor experience. In January, I approached them in person to give them an overview of my tax situation and understand whether they could file on my behalf. After giving me an estimate of $250 per return and making me complete a lengthy questionnaire re-stating everything I had discussed in person with them, they became rather unresponsive. When I indicated that I would need to file an extension because one tax form would arrive late, they provided no guidance on whether I should file an extension or amend the return. As a result, I had to pay a steep penalty for both the federal and state returns. After filing my extensions, they went radio silent and never followed up on asking if my tax form had arrived to complete my returns. I had to chase them down over multiple e-mails at which time they indicated I could only come in person rather than complete things by e-mail or mail. They never checked the tax forms I'd sent them against the questionnaire, so when I realized one W-2 was not reflected in the return I had to go back and have them re-do the entire set of forms. There were several more errors throughout the entire form which made me question why I was having them file when I could have done the same work myself. Moreover, they did not attach any of the schedules so I had no way of checking their work until I requested it. I have no idea if they made it up after the fact or had done it properly the first time. It took them days to reply to e-mails (some of which I had to send multiple times before getting a response), they never called when they said they would and in general, I had to do all the work over to have any confidence that it was done correctly. Even worse, after they submitted the returns in draft form, they repeatedly ask for payment rather than ensuring that everything was correct. I'd stay away from this service!

V was incredibly prompt with responses and very understanding of personal circumstances. Accommodating, professional and sweet. I enjoyed the personal touch with the old school explanation of the tax return and where each and every number came from.

VXL was great!  I would definitely recommend them and we will be using them in the future.  We had a lot of questions since we bought a house, rented out a rental property, made some repairs, had miscellaneous income as well as rental income, and had multiple state income.  They walked us through everything and they gave me a quote to make sure I was comfortable with the service.   We waited until late in the tax season, but they still finished everything very quickly.  The price was very reasonable compared to other accountants that we spoke with.  Great service.

We filed our taxes through Vaishali in 2014. We found it very easy working with her and she  walked us through the various components of our tax schedule. She was very timely in her responses during the entire process. The price was reasonable for the service provided. 
Based on our positive experience with her during the tax filing in 2014 we have also setup various investment accounts through Vaishali. During this process too Vaishal exhibited deep knowledge of various investment and insurance options suitable to our needs. She was patient as we tried to understand the various options.

We worked with Vaishali for the most part and she was extremely professional. She was upfront about what they will do, the cost, how long it would take (we went to them only 2 weeks before the deadline). She explained their security measures as there are a lot of sensitive details exchanged when it comes to taxes - and that was very comforting. Very professional, organized and punctual

I needed a CPA to prepare my taxes, and I looked for someone whose business was within a reason driving distance.   I read the reviews on Angie's List for VXL, and based on the positive reviews, I contact them, asked questions about their service, including an estimate of the cost of preparation. I moved forward with using their services.  They were professional and very knowledgable about the tax rules, and double checked on any questionable item.  When my taxes were ready, they reviewed the documents with me, ensuring that I understood and we were in agreement.  I was completely satisfied and currently, they are looking over my prior year filing to perhaps file an amendment return for things that were missed by my old accountant.  Based on my experience with VXL, I highly recommend them.

Finding a reliable CPA firm that is familiar with business and personal tax issues while at the same time ensuring that you are able to take advantage of all the allowable deductions without cutting corners is no easy task.  VXL was recommended to me by an acquaintance who had used the firm for the preparation of his somewhat complex tax return involving multiple states and countries.  Though my needs are not as many, I needed to have my business taxes and personal taxes prepared, at a reasonable cost.  I have used other firms in the past and have had some issues either with the cost or with leaving money on the table by not taking advantage of all the deductions that I am entitled to.
I met with the principal Prakash Iyer at the office in North Brunswick.  After spending approximately an hour explaining my situation to him, he asked me to leave my prior years' taxes with him.  Within two days, I got a call from him explaining what I needed to do for the 2011 tax year and why i should file an amended return for 2010 to recover approximately $900 in overpayments.  That itself more than paid for the tax preparation fees!
I was very impressed with their professionalism, turnaround time and their overall knowledge of the tax code.  Their charges were very reasonable compared to my previous tax preparers.  What's more the firm also provides additional advice regarding 401-Ks and IRAs if required.  I did not avail myself of these services at the time but might consider doing so in the future.

From the very beginning, Prakash and Vaishalitook were very involved and gave us all the information we needed. They are always available to answer any of our questions. We have saved substantial amounts in taxes due to their knowledge and advice. Furthermore, they are also especially experienced in areas that are of  interest to us, with regard to setting up a sole proprietorship, and were able to walk us through the various options available ,and the benefits and drawbacks of each.
