Cynthia and her team always arrived on time. The interaction with her was extremely professional and she charged exactly what was in her estimate. The work was done on time and performed meticulously. Her team cleaned up the site on leaving. This was an excellent experience. We chose Cynthia based on a past recommendation and on some minor work that she did. Our kitchen is not so large, so the rennovation is not as big as many houses in the area. Two other contractors looked at the job--Home Depot's local contractor and another--both came in with higher estimates for price and the time it would take to complete the job and both other contractors charged more than House Handy. (NOTE: Cynthia did not give us a bargain basement price, but it was a fair price and less expensive than the bigger guys.) The quality of the workmanship was excellent and the workers were meticulous about details. Cynthia and her team have an excellent work ethic. They take pride in their work and it shows. And they cleaned up the site after every work day. In fact, the kitchen was always left in a state such that we could live in the space while the work was going on. I give House Handy 'straight As' across the board and the highest of recommendations. Whether it was a big or small project, Cynthia takes all of her clients seriously and makes sure that the work is of the highest quality, done carefully, and completed on time. I would absolutely use them again for any large or small job that in the future.

It was a pretty small job. Price included materials and labor. She fixed 2 bi fold doors in my apartment. I used her before a few times and she's a very good communicator, very prompt, very transparent about what the costs are.

She's done a lot of little work for me. She put up a shelf and before that she put up another shelf and before that she did a bigger job which was widening a doorway in my house for the washer dryer closet. The closet door was too narrow for the washer/dryer so she widened it. It was a couple of days work. First they had to widen the door, then they had to wait and come back after the plaster was dry and paint and put the trim in. she had worked for my daughter and son in law first, they gave me the recommendation. She's very present and personable. Very open and upfront about when she would be coming, how much the services were going to cost and what the other circumstances would be.

Cyndi was prompt. I made the mistake of not getting pricing up front - this was very stupid of me - first time I am hiring someone. The cost was $68 an hour. Afterwards I googled handyman fees and the average fee is much lower. Now I suspect this is becuz Cyndi has other skills - so I should not have hired her for the rather small jobs I had. Some complaints: *She did not completely tighten the furniture - it was still loose. So the furniture should have been turned over and all four sides tightened. *Powder room paint job - a bit sloppy. Generally the work felt a bit sloppy.

Excellent. The work done looks terrific and Cynthia and her team showed up promptly and worked hard while they were here. Househandy was very easy to deal with and was very good about minimizing the disruption to our ongoing activities while the work was being done as well as doing a great job of cleaning up after the work was completed. I would enthusiastically recommend Househandy.
