I have used them about 4 times and have good work, but each time I call them they tell me I have to wait 7-10 days. I feel like a business should treat everyone the same and not make someone wait just because the job is smaller. I am dissappointed in their business. They always tell me if I can't wait then find someone else. Each time I call the office I feel like they give me the run around and also that they are doing me a favor.

Overall it went well and I'm very happy to deal with this company.

They showed up on time, were very professional, and cleaned up after they finished. There was a small leak weeks after they completed the job and they promptly sent someone to access the problem. It was fixed at no additional charge to me. They were the only company that was willing to give me a guarantee. Several roofers told me they could only guess what the problem was and, if there was a problem after they finished, there would be an additional charge. I have since recommended this company to several friends.

Overall I was extremely pleased with this company and would definitely use them again. They returned my initial phone call immediately, and someone was sent right out to give me an estimate; I had needed loose siding and a j-leader repaired on the side of my townhouse which had been leaking into my neighbor's attic. I also wanted them to check a suspicious section of my roof that I wasn't sure was leaking. As a single homeowner I was nervous about the cost, but they considered these repairs a small job and said it would cost about $100.00 an hour and would call me if they found something that would require more work and hence cost more. The work was scheduled for Jan. 4 and I didn't need to be home. When I came home from work that day, I could see the repairs were done. I received a bill in the mail two days later and was thrilled with the cost. The siding and j-leader were repaired as was a small section of roof that needed to be re-sealed. I couldn't be happier!

The work was completed in two parts: first the exterior work and the windows, then the kitchen renovation. The contractor planned both jobs in detail and consulted us at every stage. The exterior workmen worked throughout last winter's severe weather with no complaints. Both they and the interior workers were considerate and made the renovation process as pleasant as these jobs ever get. The standard of work was good and any minor issues were satisfactorily dealt with.

They were fine but at first there was some confusion about our understanding of when they were going to come out to do the work. They told me there was some inner-office communication problem but eventually came out to do the work. We have not had any rain so I can't check to see if what they did worked. They were very professional, punctual and overall I would say they are very good. I am going to call them to check on the work warranty that they provide. I will use them again in the future.

Excellent service overall and price

Overall the job that was done was satisfactory. Svc rep was courious and fixed the problem that was apparent. I would use them again if necessary.

The job took a little longer than expected because of the storms. I chose them because they have a very good reputation in the neighborhood. You get used to seeing their trucks around all the time in our town and I have always heard good things about them. Everyone I have talked to know the owner by name and they say that Tony came and did this and Tony came and did that. He has always been very receptive and very comfortable to work with. He is very open and always there with the numbers and always tells you exactly what is going to happen and how it is going to work. He actually had the best price of the guys that I talked to. The siding was done very well and they cleaned everything up. All the edges and everything were done very well. They were on time everyday. The foreman was great and he was always there to answer questions. He even answered questions off the topic of what the job was. The guys who were doing the work were great as well. They were respectful to my wife. They were quiet when they needed to be quiet and they were really good.

After hurricane Irene we had 2 roof leaks that needed repairs. I called 3 roofers listed in Angie's List and chose AW Hobor. When I spoke with Dave, he was very nice. He spent time talking to me about the problems we were having. His was the only company that offered me an hourly charge to review and repair the roof/shingles as needed. He estimated that I'd need between 1 and 3 hours worth of work. This was considerably less than the other estimate I had received for the same repair work.

The repair person and quot;Jerac?and quot; called me to tell me he was on his way, and what time he should arrive -- and he was right on time.

He went around with me and looked at the damage, and found a vent pipe that had disconnected from the roof cover, and a crack in a shingle at the junction of a gable and the main roof. We had spare shingles from when we had the roof installed, so he used them to repair the crack. He took a picture of the crack to show me what he found. My only issue -- I had asked him to email me the picture so I could show it to my spouse, and he never sent it to me.

I asked him to check a couple of other places where the roof transitions from flat to dormer. He did and said he saw nothing else that needed repairs.

He stayed for an hour and 15 minutes. I was concerned that when I got the bill I'd be charged for more time than that -- and I was very happy to see that I was charged for exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes.

We had another downpour recently and had no further damage. I believe AW Hobor (and Jerac) did a good job, but I imagine that we'll still have to wait for another hurricane before we're 100% sure that the roof has no further problems.

They are a little expensive; but you get what you pay for, reliability and quality work doesn't come cheap

I got a quote on the phone based on the pictures I e-mailed of the current situation of the roof. We agreed on the price and the job was scheduled right away for a week later. The person who showed up for the job was a total professional. Besides what he was supposed to fix, he also went around the whole house, hammered in all the nails that were popping out from various different spots of the gutters around a 2 storey house. The job done was exceptional.

I called and they said a service call would be scheduled when they had a few houses in the same area. I did not hear back, so I called the following week and the service call was scheduled for the next Tuesday. The service call was met as planned the work perfomred and I received a bill in the mail. We have had heavy rains since the work was performed and no leaks to date.

The workers came very quickly days later and performed the repair efficiently and effectively. They repaired the damage and even inspected the rest of the roof for any other damage and secured some other problem areas. I give AW Hobor my highest recommendation for their responsiveness, excellant customer service and professional and expert repair. Thank you AW Hobor for a job well done and thanks to Anthony for all your support. Keep up the good work.

Overall I couldn't be more pleased. I love to deal with contractors that are honest and helpful. AW Hobor fit this to a "T." I will definitely keep them in mind for when we will eventually have to replace our roof.

I had used them before a year ago. When I called them, they were very prompt. They came out and provided the sufficient information. They got the job done, billed me, and left. The entire process was very seamless. The job was well done and they were honest. I spent about $185, including labor charges. They do provide information before the work is done. They came out on the said date. I will use them again in the future.
