Uncle Matty's Tree Service

I called Uncle Matty’s tree service and Matt came the same day to inspect my situation. I had a huge red oak stump that was lodged in a tight space in the back of my garage. Why would anyone plant a tree there is a question I will never know. No one would take this job because of the space it was in. Matt’s guys came by and somehow grinned the stump all the way down to the root and it was gone within hours. They were professional and courteous. And also cleaned up afterwards. Thank you Matt for your service

Matty's Tree Service removed a giant oak tree from the corner of my property, and also ground the stump. This tree was growing in a fence, so this job also required some finesse. After two days of efficient work, everything came out great, including a reassembled fence. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the initial quoted rate was fair and honest. Thanks guys!

It went well very. I like that "Uncle Matty," was nearby to oversee. The gentlemen did a great job of cutting back the various trees and shrubs. They worked quickly. When I pointed out something I wanted to be given more attention, they did so gladly. Also, I was very pleased that they removed the branches and other cuttings thoroughly, leaving nothing for me to pick up. They did well, what I could not have done at all. I feel the price was fair for the number of workers and the job that was done.

there was some confusion as to the delivery date, but they went above and beyond to make sure I got my stuff when I expected it. very responsive and they did exactly what I requested. I would definitely work with them again. highly recommend their use

The crew arrived promptly and began work immediately. They made sure to discard all branches that were cut and any extra debris. All the guys were very nice and helpful in teaching me about the trees in my yard. Overall, the job was excellent and they were the best price after several estimates. I definitely recommend them and will use them again!

Uncle Matty himself arrived on the same day I called for a quote, which was great considering other places I called said I'd have to wait up to 7 days for a quote. He took a close look at things, looked at the overall problems I was having, and gave me 2 quotes as I requested. One to chainsaw and remove the fallen tree, which was urgent, and another quote for a bigger project I'll need in the future. The quote was about what I had figured it might be, so I booked it. His guys came within the hour, and they were gone 10 minutes later. Beautiful. One small issue was that I realized they did not give me a receipt for my cash payment, which made me a little nervous. The next day, Uncle Matty called me up to see how everything went, giving me an opportunity to tell him that I wish I had received a receipt. Very professional and I appreciated the follow-up.

We were very pleased with Uncle Matty's. I sent an e-mail request for an estimate on Sunday afternoon (9/8). On Monday morning (9/9) I received a call. Uncle Matty himself showed up at my home half an hour after the initial call. He inspected the tree and gave me an estimate. By 5 p.m. that day the work was completed. The work crew was professional, polite, and tidy. The cost of the job was the exact amount of the estimate. I found Uncle Matty to be trustworthy, honest, and just generally nice. I would definitely use his firm again.

Showed up on time, were extremely courteous and carefully removed one tree that was close to the house and another sweet gum that took up most of my backyard. Without adding any extra cost, they also trimmed another tree while they were up in the bucket. Would highly recommend them and plan to use them again to remove more trees in the backyard so we can put in a fence in the spring.

After being blown off several times by other companies, this company not only came the next day (when they said they would) but they did the job fast and clean. No problems at all.

I told him what I wanted done and he did everything. It was great. He left everything perfectly cleaned up.

They are on Angie's List. Matthew Sabato is the owner. They came two Fridays ago to estimate the job. They said they would come Friday morning and estimate the job, they did. We weren't home, but they left the estimate in the mailbox as promised. I had two other companies estimate the job. One was highly recommended by friends as being very inexpensive on the quote and they were $450 higher. Then another one was $100 less, when I asked them questions that whether they were going to bring crane and they said that if they need one, they would rent one. Matty's had all the equipment themselves like trucks. They came when they said they were going to come. I asked them to come on Monday, but they said they actually have authorities to do it on the following days with one of their crew. They came on Tuesday. They said they would come between 8 - 8.30. They were already out in front of the house by quarter to 8. They put their truck on my backyard; but before they rolled the truck on to the lawn, they put big sheets of plywood to avoid the lawn from being ripped up. We had no damage to the lawn at all. They did an extraordinary job. The tree was located behind my garage. They were 10 inches from the garage. It was very tall and very old tree. It took them most of the day to get it down because they had to cut it down in sections. They worked steadily. They never seemed to be unsure about anything they were doing. They are a very professional group. I had never seen them before. I found them on Angie's List. I would highly recommend them. They know what they are doing. When they were done, the trees were all over the backyard. We wanted to redo the garage and the only way to have that done was that by having that tree taken out because the trees roots was there in my two car garage. They came in and got rid of everything. They left the property as if they were never in there. They hauled everything away. If they had left the pieces of trees piled up in front of the house, it probably would have covered half of the street. Even though they cut it down, they took three very big long pieces away on a truck. It was 3-foot diameter logs. I got prices on removing the stump and theirs was very competitive. They didn't do that though because I didn't need that. I would be happy to recommend them. They did an extremely professional job. My wife left in the morning before they started and came home, and an hour after she came home remembered that the trees guys had been there. She went around the backyard and she said were the tree guys here. There was nothing left.

They were punctual, on time, and the job was completed as described.

They were good. I would use them again in the future if there was a need for it. They charged me what they estimated the job would be. They came when they said they would. They kept the appointment. They cleaned up after themselves. Their charge was less than other people.

Half the tree fell down during a nor'easter. We couldn't even get anyone to come and give us an estimate because they were all so busy. About a week after the tree came down, I called and left a message on their voicemail on Friday, and on Saturday morning, Uncle Matty was at my door. He gave us a reasonable estimate, and told me that what remained was so dangerous, he could take his crew off another job. He gave me his cell phone and I called him back about an hour later. He and his crew came in the middle of the afternoon, and took the whole tree down. I'm so glad they did the work that day because we had another storm soon after. They came back on Monday to remove all the materials. They did a beautiful job and were so professional.

Their response was immediate, within ½ an hour. The price was OK. Most of all, we were pleased with their quick response. We would absolutely hire them again.

They came in and did everything in an orderly fashion. They cleaned up very nice afterward. I was well satisfied. Their prices were very reasonable. I would recommend them to others. It was a class A operation.

HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE WAS ALWAYS ON TIME AND WAS VERY NEAT. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WITH HIM WAS THAT HE WAS VERY EXPENSIVE COMPARED TO OTHER COMPANIES IN THE AREA.
