Petey and Simon are very happy well behaved dogs because of k9 Nanni!
Linda is working on opening a small rescue. She is devoting her training to rehabilitate dogs and make them adoptable. She is just AMAZING!!! I would recommend this place whole heartedly!
"Thank! Always a pleasure to watch !"
Linda sent us pictures while we were away.
Overall, an excellent experience and will definitely use K-9 Nanni again (in fact, we will be sending Jessica there next week!).
And I'm not the only one who loves the service, so does Pete! Most Saturday afternoons Pete goes for a play-date in the afternoon, it's his routine and he loves it. So every Saturday afternoon, around the time they usually come to pick him up (they do pick ups too!) Pete will take one of his toys and sit in the window where he can see them pull up. And he will wait patiently until he sees their van. And the minute he does, he goes nuts, his whole body is just wriggling with excitement as he gets his toys together to present to them when they come in. And there really is no better feeling than seeing your dog that happy.
k9nanni simply is the best there is. And I would recommend them to anyone looking for someone to care for their pet.
Linda was always there on time to walk Lucky-3 times a week and he absolutely loved seeing her. She did not rush through the walk-many times she walked him even a few minutes longer -because to her-it's not about the money -it's about the pets well -being.
I also board my dog with Linda when I'm away on business. But the 1st time I left him with Linda-I was in the process of moving to Staten Island. I was a little nervous -since it was his first time away from me. He Stayed with her about 10 days and when I went to pick him up, I didn't recognize him ! I watched him running and playing with other dogs-he had so much energy that I never saw before and he was leaner from all the exercise he had there. She also taught him he could change his behavior and socialize-even at his mature age. I could just see in his expression, how much happier he was. And when were finally leaving to go home, Linda became a little emotional when she had to say goodbye to him. That spoke volumes to me and just shows how deeply she cares about the animals.
When I recently took him to the vet he couldn't believe the difference from a year ago. My dog is 10 years old and the vet said he had the energy and build of a much younger dog.
I can't say enough about Linda and how she's changed my dogs quality of life in such a positive way and helped give me piece of mind. And with your pet, you know how much that means.
I wouldn't hesitate a second to recommend using Linda for training, walking, sitting or boarding your dog or pet.
With her and Dexter, it was love at first sight. She is extremely reliable and trustworthy. One thing about Linda is that she completely understands the dogs needs as opposed to watching the clock. She is not your typical 'walk the dog for 20 mins and rush back home'. Sometimes she lets the dogs play for over an hour until they are completely tired and then walks them home. Her motto is 'a tired dog is a happy dog'.
She has socialized him with neighbors, kids, strollers, mailmen etc - and now Dexter doesn't jump or scare them. He is so friendly with everyone and other dogs and the credit goes to Linda. She also has an assistant, Anna, who also walks dogs with her and is equally amazing. She takes care of Dexter just as well. Very very flexible and often takes Dexter on long walks too!
Couple of unique experiences we had with Linda and Anna that really touched our hearts.
1. Dexter had a minor surgery and couldn't go for his walks for a couple of days. Despite of canceling the walks, Linda still came to simply check on him to see how he is doing. That shows her complete dedication towards her dogs - she would do anything for them! She loves Dexter as her own puppy!
2. We live in a flood zone. When it rains, our street floods almost immediately. Hoboken residents - you know how it is. One such a rainy day, our street was flooded and I was almost sure that Linda/Anna wouldn't be able to come that day. I was wrong - she showed up in her rainboots and carried Dexter out and then had a mini play date for the dogs in another dog's backyard. How much more dedication can one ask for?
Overall, we are so fortunate to have her in Dexter's and our life and would recommend her to everyone!!
