Was shopping for a pre-owned car in 2004. Had trouble with service of previous Subaru, but manager claimed all new staff. Salesman claimed all cars were perfectly maintained & good-to-go. I checked the oil on the 1st car I wanted to test-drive & found the oil tank was empty. Salesman tried to sell another car, changed his original offer a day later, got rude when I questioned his motives & hung up on me. Called his supervisor & reported him. Would not buy a car from anyone at that dealership. No idea if new dealership "Subaru World" is tied to them or not, but so far salesman didn't want to do phone quotes until I told him 6 other dealers gave me phone quotes, then refused to do any negotiating unless I came to delaership. Not impressed. UPDATE: Yes, there are staff from the old place at Subaru World. And the operation is just as bad. Run away!!
Description of Work: THIS DEALERSHIP NO LONGER EXISTS. A new dealership called "Subaru World of Newton" opened further north on Rt. 206; they claim to have no association with Salerno-Duane. UPDATE: They lied; there is staff from old Salerno at new Subaru World, & business as usual = BAD.
