Fantastic! The work was beautiful even down to matching existing cabinetry in the kitchen for the new pantry doors. Everything was done on time and at the quoted price. I would highly recommend Russell for all home repair/remodeling work.

This was no easy job.  The sill and plate board (correct terminology???), anyway the wood that goes under the door, all the way down to the foundation was badly rotted.  Russell went into the cellar and replaced everything that needed replacement.  Of course, the house and opening for the new door was out of square, so he had to deal with that. Then he built the door frame, trimmed the door to fit perfectly, put on my eBay find door knob, and trimmed the door out  both inside and outside.  Beautiful work.
Russell's work is perfect and above all of that, he works neat.  He does not leave a mess behind him that the homeowner has to clean up. 
After all is said and done, Russell installed my beautiful new front door perfectly.  I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

He gave me a good estimate. He came in and he found some extra problems and he corrected the problems and he was still close to his original estimate. He is very neat, clean and respectful. He showed up when he said he was going to. He would also call you back and will give you a fair estimate and he would do good work. He is a master carpenter.

I would recommend him. He was very good. He works with a painter and all that. He did a wonderful job. He was very good and very efficient. He was always on time or he called. I was very happy with the job. He was very consistent. A couple of days he had a problem and he called to apologize for not showing up. He was on time and he was done in the time he said. He took care of a lot of issues that needed to be done without being asked. He was medium priced. He was in the middle of all of the prices we got. He was the most reasonable for the amount of work. The quality was very good. He cleaned up and there are no defects. Nothing has fallen down. I watched him work and he used enough screws and nails so it wasn’t haphazard. He was always available and I could call him at home at night. One day he couldn’t work because it was raining and he didn’t want to get the wallboard wet, which was good. Some days he stayed later to get what he wanted finished up. He was very professional. He took care of all the paperwork. I am thinking about calling him back to do my garage.
