Description of Work: We hired Bob from R&S Carpet to fix a bad installation job and subsequent botched repair that was done by different carpet contractor. Bob re-stretched the carpet to fix the wrinkles, which including opening existing seams, cutting & closing new seams, and cutting out excess carpet from the perimeter of the room. He did an excellent job! He carefully assessed the state of the carpeting in question, diagnosed the problems, and presented us with the options we had to address them. He didn't sugar-coat the situation and he let us know that we would have to pull off some molding to properly re-stretch the carpet. Not what we wanted to hear, but we appreciated his competent, honest assessment. We took the course of action that he recommended and the carpet looks great! Additionally, Bob worked with me to help me fix a squeaky floor by opening a long seam in the master bedroom carpet, allowing me to screw-down the subfloor, and then re-closing the seam. It looks perfect!
