His ability to do design work was good. The subcontractors that were used do not seem to have been licensed. He did not give us warranties and he did not do any inspections, so nothing that was done was by code.
Description of Work: He renovated a kitchen. Which involved removing a staircase, a wall which made it an open kitchen, put in new flooring, ceiling, and windows. He also put in new cabinets, lighting, appliance, and added a small bathroom. He also painted each room in the house and put in an air condition system. He installed a washer and dryer and made duct work.

All contractors were licensed. Refusal to pay last payment and retainage. refusal to pay for changes and extra work requested. Barred from finishing work and inspecting work after other contractors were hired by homeowners. negating warranties from original contractors.
