I had a leak in the basement 6 inches below ground level, right below the window at. He recommended a new basement window. He said it was rotted out. Now I have no idea if I actually needed a new window. But he I let him replace it. I'm pretty sure now I didn't need a new one. He also said I needed a window well. I said yes. I had no idea at the time that you don't need one if your entire window is above ground. So he was able to sell me something I didn't need. The job was shoddy. Amateurish. He dug about 5 feet, laid plastic & concrete - for a leak 6 inches below ground level. The leak is still there. And now there is a new leak down at the bottom of where he dug to. It's a large leak, with dirt, not just water, entering the basement. I've been trying to get him to fix it. All he says is I need a window well cover. I might need to take him to court.
Description of Work: Installed window, installed window well, attempted to fix a leak.
