Cut too much and cut trees that I did not request them to cut. Stepped all over flowers and other small shurbs. Was too expensive for the job they did.

The job did not cost anything because it was under warranty for cable protection. They were great.

We are very happy with the job they did, and it was a tough one. It was quite a show to watch Simon climb and swing through the branches as he worked. Fortunately we have a healthy tree, but it is overwhelming. Jorge explained the goal of what to cut to balance the tree which was growing heavily toward the southern exposure. They were on time, expedient, very careful with the underlying garden in our yard and our neighbors' yard, and fastidious in their clean-up. There was a brief hitch when they didn't have enough tree hooks to attach the cables, but Jorge went out to get them and work resumed. We were a bit confused about cabling, but that was our misunderstanding. The workers were courteous and professional. We anticipate we need to trim again every four years and perhaps in 16 years have reached the goal of taming the canopy. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I answered below that "I got exactly what I paid for", but if this tree holds up in the 100 year storm and in the next 16 years working with this company we manage to get the canopy under control, then we will have gotten more than we paid for.
