I was later sued by the company for breach of contract for the fully amount. The company only worked for two hours on the project.
Description of Work: Rhett Zidziunas president of Joseph Environmental allow his employee to start work in my home while my Nanny and children were still in the home. I had left for work on the morning that the work was scheduled to begin, as asked that no lead paint abatement start until my children and Nanny were out of the house. Mr. Zidziunas ignored my wishes and started working as soon as I left my home. Thankfully my neighbor, who knew about the project, became concerned, when he did not see my children or my Nanny leave. He quickly called me at work, and Joseph Environmental was fire the same day.

ON JUNE 27, 2006 HON. JUDGE VERNA LEATH CASE DC-036594-03 JOSEPH ENVIRONMENTAL V. 'THE MEMBER' ENTERED IN FAVOR OF JOSEPH ENVI. FOR $15,000.00 CITNG THAT "JOSEPH ENVI (PLAINTIFF) COMPLETED WORK IN SUBSTANTIAL COMPLIANCE WITH THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT." THE MEMBER HAD NEVER PAID OUR COMPANY AFTER THE JUDGMENT WAS ISSUED. SHE TESTIFIED IN COURT UNDER QUESTIONING THAT SHE HAD RECEIVED OUR FUNDS FOR THE SERVICES FROM THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY FOR HER CHILD FROM AN ILLNESS FUND. SHE KEPT THE FUNDS AND PAID HER OTHER BILLS WITH THE MONEY SHE TESTIFIED. FURTHERMORE, THE MEMBER STATED LATER TO A BANKRUPTCY COURT THAT SHE NEVER RECEIVED THOSE FUNDS. SHE WAS AWARDED BANKRUPTCY. SHE IS ABLE TO PAY TO BE A MEMBER WITH ANGIE'S LIST BUT CANNOT PAY FOR HER JUDGMENT AND NOW WILL NOT PAY BECAUSE SHE HAS BEEN AWARDED "BANKRUPT" I SIMPLY CANNOT FIGURE OUT HOW SHE CAN BE AN ANGIE'S LIST MEMBER AND BE BANKRUPT? I WOULD HOPE THAT WHOMEVER IS READING THIS WOULD PLEASE CALL ME AT OUR OFFICE AT ANYTIME AND FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE OF NJ. WE HAD ALREADY DONE SO, BUT THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED. OUR COMPANY HAD SPENT OVER $5,000.00 IN LEGAL FEE'S ALONE IN DEFEND OURSELVES. THANK GOODNESS THIS RESPONSE IS FREE BECAUSE WE WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME CHASING THIS MEMBER FOR THE MONEY SHE TOOK FROM THE STATE AND NEVER PAID US FOR THE APPROVED AND CERTIFIED LEAD ABATEMENT. FINALLY, IN CONCLUSION, FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE THE MEMBER POSTED ON ANGIE'S LIST THAT WE PERFORMED ASBESTOS REMOVAL NOT LEAD. SHE HAS RECENTLY CHANGED HER STORY ON ANGIE'S LIST. ALL I CAN ASK IS THAT IF YOU DOUBT MY DEFENSE, PLEASE CONTACT OUR OFFICE ASAP AT 973 373 2221 SO I MAY FAX YOU ALL THE DOCUMENTS OF PROOF. WE HAD WANTED TO POST A COPY OF THE COURT JUDGMENT BUT ANGIE'S LIST STATED THAT WE CANNOT HAVE AN ATTACHMENT FOR VIEWING, ONLY THIS STATEMENT I HAVE STATED CAN I USE AND THAT IS WHY I PLEASE ASK YOU TO CALL OUR OFFICE SO WE CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH THE CERTIFIED COURT DOCUMENTS AND HOW YOU CAN FIGHT AGAINST PEOPLE WHO ARE ABLE TO MANIPULATE THE SYSTEM AND CONSTANTLY GET AWAY WITH IT.
