Desmond Edwards Electrical Service

My father Desmond Edwards passed away on April 16, 2025. He wasn’t sick at all. At 68 years old he had an heart attack. Stress will kill you guys, never would have thought God needed him so YOUNG.I miss my Daddy so much. Lord knows my dad knew his children loved him tremendously. We will remember all he taught us and walk with respect. Extremely sad 😔

He does excellent work, and his prices are reasonable.

My power was out.  My local utility indicated that it was a problem in my house and to contact an electrician.   I contacted Mr. Desmond after consulting Angie's List.  After waiting approximately 8 hours for him to show up, he went to the circuit breaker and the junction box for about 2 minutes and determined that it was a power company problem.   He told me to call PSE&G and charged me  $50.  I gave him the cash and he went out to his truck.  I assumed he was writing a receipt.  Instead he just took off.  I have politely, and patiently asked him to send me a receipt so that I can pursue reimbursement from the utility because they had other repair calls from my neighbors.   I have talked to him directly, left polite voice mail reminders and sent him  a text message.  For some reason he refuses to send a simple receipt.  It seems to me this is the bear minimum a business man should provide his customers. 

Follow up: Mr. Desmond provided me with the requested bill with an explanation.

He is inexpensive and very thorough.
