QUESADA LANDSCAPING

I saw this landscaping service working on another property. The owner was a good guy and we agreed on a price and date for my fall clean-up. They came weeks early and I complained and was told not to worry he'd make it right. They came again closer to the town's pickup time. We had agreed to $90 for the work - and the town permit was $55 - so I didn't get my past service for $150. Today I get a bill for $450. I call him and he says that's wrong, sorry, not your invoice, oops. Should be $270 for three visits. I tell him I asked for one visit. He says he's got to pay his guys. I say cut me some slack and I'll hire you in the Spring to do my lawn - $270 is WAY mucho $$ for me with a kid in college. He's says $250. I say, you'll get it but lose my lawn business. He doesn't care - so they did a GREAT JOB, overcharged me by hundreds and then there's a "misunderstanding" and they won't go halfway. He's a good guy, but this is the kind of thing I really can't stand. He doesn't need my lawn business because there's a lot of lawns out there. That happens these days. We need them more than they need us since there's so much demand.
