There was a slight problem understanding the dispatcher when calling for info about the service due to his accent.  He quoted a price of $72.85 one-way which included tax and tip.

The driver was courteous, prompt and professional.

There was a problem with the amount charged on the credit card, though, $79.20 instead of $72.85 on the return trip.  A call to the office resulted in a quick refund, but there was no apology and there seemed to be no surprise that there was an issue with an incorrect amount.

Great, professional, reliable and friendly service!  Would still be using them if I hadn't moved away from the area.  Happily recommended!

I needed car service due to flight change. I called at 10am for same day1:30 pickup. They were waiting for my husband. I also liked how they didn't display my husbands name keeping our privacy. They called husbands cell phone with their location. Excellent service!

Driver was on time. When I called the price quoted was $45.00. Half way to airport the driver first tells me the price will be $96.00 including tip then tells me that no it was $102.00 because there was 4 of us and they had to send a bigger car. I told driver that when I made reservation I told him there was 4 adults with luggage and he quote $45.00. We got to the airport and I paid the $102.00 cash because if I use my credit card it will be an additional $11.00. I ask the driver how much it would cost for the return trip home because I wanted to have enough cash so I didn't have to use my credit card. I told him our flight will arrive at 10:45 pm. He said $102.00. Our flight was delayed and we arrive around 12:30am. He picked us everything ok until we got home. He wanted an additional $50.00 because after 11:00pm they charge extra. The driver or when I made the reservation explain their policies. I paid him $105.00 and he took off.

I phoned New Providence a couple of weeks prior to my business trip and found them to be very competitively priced. I liked the reviews on Angie's List and so I decided to use the service as i'd recently moved into the area. The previous company I used had excellent customer service (including confirmation phone calls on the day prior to the trip, and prompt notification upon landing at the airport), professional drivers and immaculate cars.
The day prior to my pickup on 4/15, I received no call, and so I called to confirm the pickup. The individual I spoke to was very professional and confirmed my pickup. I was picked up in the morning and taken to the airport at which time my card was swiped - all said, certainly an adequate service.
I did inquire on more than once occasion, how the pickup on arrival would be handled. Specifically, as I carry-on my luggage, I prefer meeting the driver at the airport in front of a designated door in order to expedite my trip. I was advised that I would have a text message with the driver's number when I landed (this is not unusual). However, when I landed there was no message, so I had to call the company to verify that the driver was there to pick me up. I was informed that I would receive a call from the driver. When he called he told me he didn't want to bother me with a text message as soon as I landed, so he was waiting and was just about to contact me -- REALLY?
Ok, now we head to my job and when we arrive I present my credit card. The driver, after a bit advises me that my card was denied - "Not Likely". However, what he failed to tell me was that he inadvertently put through a charge for approxmimately $6,700 instead of $67 and then immediately tried to put in a second charge for the correct amount, which triggered fraud alerts on the credit card. I had to give him another card but didn't know about his error because he was not honest with me. I did find out within minutes as I received phone calls and text messages from the fraud department of my credit card.
The experience left me irritated and not comfortable with the integrity of the driver which reflected on my decision not to continue using this company.

The company first impressed me with the extra effort they made to take the reservation. It was during the aftermath of Sandy; phones were out and cell service was choppy. The company called me back 3 times during the conversation because the cell connection was repeatedly dropped. Their computer system was down at that time, and my reservation was taken manually and correctly entered into their system after their power was restored.
Both drivers, to and from the airport, were courteous, professional, and on time.

We had to leave home at 5:00 AM. Driver was here a few minutes early and sat and waited for us. Driver was professional and got us to the airport with no issues. Driver on the return trip was also professional. Would use this service again.

They were on time. Very clean cars and nice drivers.

I called the driver the night before I needed to be picked up. I needed a very early pickup – 5:00 AM – this was not an issue. The driver was timely and courteous. I would use the service again without hesitation.

I have been satisfied with both the service and the price on all occasions.

I contacted New Providence Car and Limousine service to take me to Newark Airport for a recent trip and also to pick me up at the airport and take me home after the completion of my trip. The gentleman I spoke with when I made the reservation was professional and courteous as well as friendly when taking my reservation. The driver called me to let me know he would be a few minutes late for my pickup due to some traffic issues and he arrived within the new timeframe as he had indicated. For both the outgoing and return trips, the driver was friendly, helpful and courteous and the cars were very clean. Overall, I found my experience with New Providence Car and Limousine service to be excellent.

After trying several companies on Angie's list and deciding they were either not local or out of business, I found New Providence taxi in the local Yellow Pages. When I called, the owner of the company was very courteous and assured me the car would be on time (I have had several bad experiences). The next morning, the driver was early and the sedan car was very clean. The driver's dress and attitude were professional and he willingly helped me with my luggage. I was so impressed that I arranged to have him pick me up when I returned 3 days later. The same driver picked me up and was again very professional. The charge for this ride was reasonable and significantly less than another executive car service my husband and I used in the past. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a safe, professional ride to the airport, theatre, dinner or a party. They are fantastic.
