I am long overdue in writing this review and feel absolutely terrible about it. My husband and I purchased our home two years ago this month and wanted to do extensive repairs prior to moving into it, which included the following projects: complete kitchen overhaul, removing a jacuzzi tub that was in disrepair and installing a new stall shower in the master bath, installing a new powder room on the main level, refacing the fireplace in the living room, building an entryway to the backyard from the kitchen, including stairs, and building an overhang in the backyard so we could grill all year. Timeline for all of the projects: about 8-9 weeks with painting of every room in the house. Dominic/Showplace had been referred to us by a friend, who had previously used him for a smaller project a couple of years earlier and had a good experience. We are very thankful. We lived out of state at the time and needed someone we could trust who would oversee the project. We also were going to be out of the country for 2.5 weeks of the 8 week timeframe, which made trust an even bigger issue. Showplace didn't disappoint. Dominic arranged to meet us at our house at convenient times (in the evenings or weekends) so that we could make sketches and plans. He also gave us a list of vendors to meet with so we could pick our materials, each of whom were fantastic. All projects were completed on time and on budget without any surprises. We later used Showplace several months later to replace our pool shed. His team poured a new foundation and put together the shed that we had ordered from Home Depot. It is a huge improvement from the one that was on the property when we bought the house. Each of the contractors and vendors that Showplace uses is professional. Dominic responds to any questions and concerns in a timely fashion - day, nights, and weekends. We love the way each of the projects came out and have Showplace to thank for it.
