When I got there he immediately started work by breaking off the old door handle, as he said he would, and then began trying to open the door. While removing my door handle he dented the door.
After about 20 minutes. He said it was taking too long and that he charges $100 an hour.
He then handed me the tool and told me to work on it.
He told me to pull off trim and snip lock lines.
It turned out to be something completely unpredictable and the part I needed was $110 used.
He then walked off to talk to a friend and show him an interesting car for 15 minutes.
I installed a used door handle that he was going to install.
Then he told me it took too long and wanted $75. I gave him the $68 in my wallet.
His breath smelled like alcohol and there was a bottle in his office with the cap off.
On top of it all he was saying inappropriate racial and political comments to other people. He claimed they were jokes, but they weren?t funny.
The right thing to do was apologize for breaking my perfectly working door handle, but he asked for more money!! I was astounded.
