We paid $100 to have him come out to assess the situation. In what amounted to a 5-minute inspection he said that one shower needed extensive work and the other simply needed a replacement part that was under warranty. He proceeded to order the part and was supposed to get back in touch with us to complete the work on both projects. Without consulting us, he scheduled a time that did not work for us and we requested a rescheduling, but repeated attempts to contact him went unanswered. The most we received was a text asking if we had received the parts. We were finally able to schedule a different plumber (with an additional $100 fee) for the major job, but unfortunately we couldn't reschedule the warranty replacement job because the insurer had ALREADY PAID this plumber. In desperation we ended up paying out of pocket for the other plumbers to take care of the second shower, which turned out to be a much bigger and more expensive job than the first guy had estimated. So we're out money and this irresponsible person got paid for work he never did.

Steve really knows what he is doing and takes great pride in his work! Highly Recommend!

The workmanship was just fair and the price was high, but the worse part is that they told me they never received my check and then cashed my check after I paid by credit card. Then they refused to refund my extra payment.  I had to go to the credit card company to get my money back.

Steve Moore was an absolute dream to work with.  I just purchased a home in June and in July discovered that my sewer pipe was leaking under the sidewalk.  I put it off and put it off and finally I called American Home Shield in hopes that they would cover it under the warranty that came with the house.  Not surprisingly, AHS did not cover the repair but we decided to let Steve go ahead and take on the project.  I tell you what, by the time I got home from work this man had all of the permits paid for and markings for gas and sewer already scheduled.

A few days later he came out (he would have been out the next day except hurricane Irene was on her way) and had the project done in 4 hours or so including a lunch break.  The backhoe operator that he brought with was a long time colleague of his and the level of trust between these two men was second to none.  They both took the time to answer any questions I had.  They even put my sidewalk back in place without breaking it.  If I have any plumbing needs in the future this company will be my first phone call.  Steve and his partner, whose name escapes me, both performed a masterful job.  If you call Moore's plumbing they will get the job done right.
