This individual approached us at a Home Depot offering his services for minor projects around our home. Over the course of one week, this individual failed to finish the one project he managed to start and caused damage to our home that required us to reach out to a professional to have fixed. Generally he was inconsistent, not punctual, and unprofessional. He would show up late and leave after an hour of work. He would take extended breaks and nothing would be done when he would finish for the day. The little work that he managed to complete was poorly done. He would give sob stories about why he could not finish a task that did not make sense and when we decided we no longer wanted to continue using him and requested a refund he refused and told us he didn't have the money. Unfortunately, we did not learn until it was too late that he has a previous complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I believe this individual is a scammer as he goes by different names (Norman, Norvan, Nirvan) and showed us doctored reviews from a profile that no longer exists. Beware of this individual at all costs.

The remotes do not work. They are very sporadic. It’s very frustrating. I have not had returned phone calls. I think its poor equipment. They came back once to make an adjustment but it didn’t seem to solve the problem.

"[member name removed] I spoke to you numerous times I said I would come and look and fix the problem which when Jason installed the motors told you that the most common thing that happens is that if hit by accident the photo eyes can get misaligned and cause the issues your describing and if that's the case that there will be a service charge now for the product if there's issues with them you have a manufactor warranty the price I charged was less than industry rates I'm sorry your unhappy but I don't know what more I can do"

Nav was very responsive to my call and came out within 1 day to give me an estimate. Nav said he would be back the next day to do the install, but called the day of install appointment to say he had trouble with his truck. Nav rescheduled for the next day and arrived on time and did a clean install. We are very happy with the work and the product.

My garage door break down, i bought a deal on Angie's, 1st 2 days contractor just gave me different appointments, but did not show up, then said take measurements and pictures and send it to him, i did. Then he showed up telling me its a special order door it will take 2 weeks, as good customer i said ok, then he said if you make it smaller it will cost u $200 extra but i can get it done within 2 days, i said ok. At this point with angies deal i was paying $1050 for the door, then he called back telling me the door he has it has windows and its 2 different panels with 2 different colors, i asked him if he can paint them brown color as my old door, but he said he has only white paint?? he has to go on vacation he will see once he comes back after over one week, he got advance $250 from me! So far i spent $350 all together and not even sure what will happen to my door?? I will never hire or look any one for work on angies list, craigslist works better for me!!

"Im sorry that you gave me this review but we should clear up a few things originally I gave you an estimate for a single layer pan door and that it would take 2 weeks to receive and you were ok with that and I even took off an additional $100 dollars of then I also gave an option for a much better door the only thing was that the door was a standard size door which meant I would have to reframe the opening which I only was going to charge $100 basically just for material I also said the door was brand new but the sections were 2 different colors and that I would paint them white for you and that you were ok with that also but all of a sudden you had to have it installed in the next couple of days and that now you wanted them to be brown which I told you I would have to buy a new door for and I did not charging you anything extra and finally then after I purchased the door you wanted to cancel the order and wanted a refund which I was considering giving back now you left this review and didn't make any sense we spoke that it wasn't your fault that I purchased 1 extra door or that I painted the other door which I can't return either of the doors I short I've lost around $800 so far trying to make you happy again I am sorry that you left this review after everything I went thru to help you"

Not Just Doors were reasonably priced for their services. Navon arrived on time on a rainy Saturday to fix the garage door spring which had snapped and replace the rollers and pulleys also on that door. Before the service that door would make a horrible racket every time it would go up or down. After the service the door moves very smoothly. Its a day and night difference! I'd hire Not Just Doors' services again any time, and recommend Navon to anyone that needs to have garage door work done.

They came and told me they needed better access in the garage. Before I could move the vehicle, they were finished. He showed me the "new" rollers but they finished so fast I didn't feel it was a good inspection.

They called to say they would be late due to truck problems. OK.No inconvenience. They tuned up two overhead garage doors and replaced rollers. I needed additional rollers but they seemed pricey. On final inspection I felt one door was binding, asked them to make adjustment which they did.

The people who worked on our garage door gave it a thorough look over. They replaced the wheels and looked at the springs.
The door had been squealing when it moved and I thought it was broken. When the replacement of wheels was done and a little lubrication it worked perfectly. I particularly liked that they did not try to sell me something I did not need. They came in....did their work....and were gone. Greatly appreciated.

It worked out pretty good. I needed more than what the Big Deal included. They changed my motor. We didn’t realize until after they left that they didn’t change the pass code. They didn’t perform the work until about a month after purchasing the Big Deal. It was difficult scheduling with them.

Two men arrived. I opened the garage doors so they could see and hear it. Doors did not open or close evenly and squeaked.
Pulleys were not part of the package but he suggested I change them out. Said it would cost $120. I said no, that was too expensive. So he said he would do both doors for $70 and I agreed. They were done in about 30 minutes and both doors were opening and closing smoothly with no squeaking. Since I haven't had any maintenance on these doors since they were installed 9 years ago, I think it was a vital service and I believe it was a good price, although I just noticed an offer from Angie's List at $89. per door. Still, it is a good thing to have done. I recommend them.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out very good. They were very efficient, and did a good job. When they weren't able to come when originally scheduled, they called and rescheduled, and came on time. The door's working better than it ever has, since we bought the house. I had a pretty tight schedule, so they were restricted to a couple of days per week where they were able to come out. I paid additional charges for the additional work that had to be done, and the charge was reasonable.

them again if needed and would recommend them.We had Not Just Doors come out as a result of having had some trouble lately with our automatic garage door and their special $99 dollar tune up offer. Our system is , or I should say was, about 20 years old. The upshot of the inspection was that just about everything was worn or about to go and needed replacement or would need replacement soon. My husband agreed to replace essentially the whole system. The young men who came war prompt, worked quickly and well, were efficient, neat, friendly, informative and in general did a great job. Navon is a very nice guy and interested in his work and his customers. He showed up as promised to look at our garage and what we would need. After demonstrating several choices we settled on a door that was just right for us. Again, on the day the work was done he showed up on time and ready to work. The new door changed the entire appearance of our garage for the better, being brand new, more modern than our old and warped door and much lighter though insulated. In addition the door has windows which we did not have before.
We wanted a few changes and Navon complied immediately. He and his helper were very courteous, outgoing and professional. They worked very fast and cleaned up after, removing the old door and tracks. We highly recommend Navon Qureshi and "Not Just Doors". They did a great job.
