John and his team did the original work about two years ago. It was perfect. He was very respectful of my ideas, responded quickly and made suggestions I have come to realize were cutting-edge and have worked out well. He was always on time and thoroughly prepared. There were no unexpected extra charges and there were no delays. His team were here when he said they would be and the job was completed on time. While the construction was underway I called with a request about adjusting the top step. His team was already at the house and he arrived within the hour to talk to me about it. I left for an appointment and returned to find the step just as I requested it.
I now have a contract with JML to do Fall and Spring clean-ups and they also open and shut-down the irrigation system seasonally. A few weeks ago when John sent a message that his team would be here to do the Fall cleanup I asked if some additional foundation plantings could be done. Within three days he made suggestions, I reviewed them and the plantings were in place.
I have received many, many compliments on the patio, both because of its unique and attractive design and because of the lovely and carefree plantings John suggested.I appreciate that it is attractive while being very low maintenance.
I live in a 55+ community and have heard horror stories about some landscapers. I considered myself very, very fortunate to have had a neighbor recommend JML. I recommend them without hesitation.
