Dec 2015
Auto Service
First, let me clarify that this location is at a gas station which could change mechanics in the future, and that this rating applies to the mechanic currently working there (Dec., 2015): Mark Domka. (I believe he is the only mechanic on duty there, but am not certain of that.) His wife works the office, scheduling jobs, ordering and fetching parts, and shuttling local customers.
The gas-tank replacement was only the latest example of much work Mr. Domka has done for me. The previous job was replacement of the engine in the same car. I've had lots of work done over the years on a few different vehicles, much of this while they were working as "Master Auto" at a location a mile west of the current one. The very few "errors" they've made, they fixed without additional charge, sometimes in only a few minutes.
Mrs. Domka offers to drop me off at home when I've left my car for service, and pick me up again when it was ready. She diligently pursues warranty replacements of parts that they've installed and which fail prematurely, and these replacements have ALWAYS been without further charge.
On the basis of years of experience with the Domkas, I unhesitatingly recommend they to any and all. If you take your car here for service, make sure it's the Domkas you speak to.
They work M-F and Saturday mornings. This IS basically a one-man shop, so if you want your car back promptly, you should schedule your appointment. Nevertheless, they will generally accept any work that comes in.
The ONLY downside is that the Domkas are Polish immigrants, and speak with an accent. Listen carefully and you'll have no problem understanding them, and they will repeat themselves if you don't get what they say the first time.
