ServePro had to rip off a lot of the base boards and trip, so since they ripped without any care, there needed some patching and painting done in those areas, as well as the trim replacement. During the quoting I specifically asked for those repairs to take place, and they were written into the quote but they never got done. He installed the trim and base boards but he left rips in the paint and dry wall exposed. He did Spackle one area, but never sanded it nor painted over it.
When he replaced the vanity, we got one that was a different size. He never addressed those drywall and paint issues and installed the vanity with unfinished dry wall. I understand that may not have been in the quote, but I would expect to have to pay more for that AND for it to be done. I would never leave work "finished" with bare drywall exposed when the rest of the room is painted.
Also, when he installed the ceramic title, the tile covered and broke the sewage floor mount. And he never fixed it (and now I understand why he didn't install the toilet).
Finally, we asked him to some unrelated additional work. It took weeks to work out details or hear back. We had a roof leak, for example, all of which he never addressed (and frankly I don't want him too!)
