They basically refurbish our garden.  They also removed and replaced a tree.   He seemed customer oriented and that he had a good deal.  I would use them again. 

Met direct with owner and he provided me with the a realistic and lower cost option to clearing my lot. Workers came in and worked their tails off to get it done. Great job!

Excellent.  I've used Hengy Landscaping for years for my lawn care (both mowing and fertilization) and he does a consistently excellent job.  Ed and his crew treat my lawn as if it was their own. 
We began undertaking a large hardscaping job in late summer of 2014.  The job consisted of a large open, roofed-in area with a built-in fireplace (with custom stonework and a built-in TV), brownstone pavers under the roof with wide brownstone  staircase coming from the backdoor, and additional brownstone outside of the roof with a built in sitting wall.  This also included a paver walkway connecting to our driveway and all the accompanying landscaping.   We priced out a number of potential vendors, and while Hengy's price fell somewhere above the middle tier of the bids, I knew based on my previous experience with Hengy that the price would match the timeliness, quality, and professionalism that I would expect with such a large undertaking.
Hengy did not disappoint.  The quality of the work was exactly as I expected and his people were timely, courteous, and respectful of our property, always showed up on time, and always cleaned up before leaving.  The centerpriece of the space is the fireplace, and the craftmanship of the custom stonework is truly remarkable.  Whenever someone new sees the space, their eye is drawn immediately to it and comments on how unique it is.  
The details and personal touches that Ed Hengy takes into account are what makes his service unique.   For example, at one point, the job was probably 3/4 of the way complete (so it was useable but not finished) and we were walking through it with him and my wife commented that we were going to be having our daughters birthday party in the coming weekend and will be having a lot of family over and were excited to have people see the progress.  Without even asking, Ed fast-tracked the landscaping (trees, flowers, etc) to make it look more complete in advance of our company arriving. 
I would highly recommend Hengy Landscaping and will continue to use their services in the future. 

When I first contacted the owner, Ed Hengy, to get a quote for the job, he was actually early for his appointment and arrived looking very professional. I informed Mr. Hengy that I received two other quotes from competitors in the area. He did not pressure me at all and he never asked for their quote or their names...which was quite refreshing. We spent an hour or so going over exactly what my wife and I were looking for, and he was very informative. He seemed to be passionate about his work. He made several suggestions and my wife and I altered our plans to follow his advice. We received the quote that evening that included landscape lighting, and my wife and I were convinced that we had found our guy to do the job. Although his estimate was in the middle price-wise, we decided to hire Ed. WE ARE ECSTATIC THAT WE MADE THIS CHOICE!!!!! They started the job a day earlier than expected, and his paver crew  worked tirelessly, only stopping to take a lunch break. They cleaned up at the end of every day, they were courteous, and Ed himself was there every day, both working and supervising. The crew always looked professional, which was also a pleasant surprise. FINAL RESULT...The paver patio and walkways are absolutely top-notch...the landscape lighting brings a whole new look to our house. We have decided to hire Hengy Landscaping for ALL of our landscaping needs.

We worked closely with Ed on finding the right design and construction materials to transform our backyard into an outdoor retreat that our family and our friends will enjoy for many years to come.  The construction process was a breeze and our patio was delivered  within the time frame that we discussed prior to starting the job. Not only did they improve the overall look of the property they helped alleviate a water issue and created a more complete look for the front of our house.
They came with several different designs as well as multiple colors and styles of block to choose from.
They were prompt, clean and extremely efficient.

Hengy Landscaping was first terrific from start to finish. Responsive on the front end with a estimate and a plan that was on budget and met my expectations for the back yard and pool. The project took roughly a week to complete and the guys that did the work were fantastic. They cleaned up at the end of each day and really took care of our yard to minimize the amount of restoration that would be required.
Over-all everything came out great and I would highly recommend Hengy Landscaping to others looking for quality work, a fair price and a process and experience that was seamless.

Hengy is expensive but most landscaping services are. I use him because he is honest, and if I have a problem he comes right out. I will continue using Hengy Landscaping.

They do an outstanding job on lawn cutting.  It is always clean and neat. He provides many other services but we have hired him for just the lawn cutting. He cuts an acre and quarter of lawn for me.  I would continue to use him in the future.
