Ed did not find the most obvious defects in the home. Which I found after moving in. One of which was a gas leak at the fireplace. Buyer beware.

"Jason, I am sorry that you had this unfortunate situation, but if you take a look at your inspection report I did not operate the fireplace. The pilot was not lit at the time of the inspection. As home inspectors, we do not lite pilots' lights. Below is the recommendation from your home inspection report of the property. The pilot was not lit for the fireplace at the time of the inspection and was not operated. Recommend having the pilot lit so the unit can be operated by the client during the final walk-through."
