Stan is very professionial. Stan removed the oil tank in our basement and installed a new system for gas heat. We were very pleased with the installation. It was done in a timely manner and no mess to clean up. Highly recommend this company.

There were various issues that occured throughout the installation process.
1. I have a semi finished carpeted basement and this company got big rusty water spots in many places in the carpet and up the stairs.
2. I asked this contractor to install the boiler in a certain direction so that it would give me more room and better access in the basement and he said sure, no problem and then installed it in a different location and direction without talking to me first. After it was all assembled he then told me that he couldn't install it the way I wanted it because it would have required more fittings. I have a very small house and need all the extra space I can get, this is part of the reason I was replacing the old boiler with a new small cleaner model.
3. After the installation was and quot;finishedand quot; the contractor appeared to test the boiler and it seemed to be working but a day or so after he left I tested it by turning the thermostat up and it didn't come on. I called him and he did come back quickly. They never wired the furnace to the thermostat, they just by passed the controls and forgot to complete that part of the job. So he did finish the connection to the thermostat and when he tested it a pipe around the boiler was leaking. He tightened the pipes and quickly left. He was VERY confidant that it was all working perfectly.
Again, after he left I tested it by turning up the thermostat, it did come on this time and it got hot but some of the fittings around the boiler were leaking water. So, I called him and he came back again, he fixed the leak and left again very quickly. I asked him if he was going to test it and it assured me it was fine but after he left I turned on the boiler and it was still leaking. I had to call him and again he came back and fixed it again. This guy just does not check his work completely.
Again, I turned on the boiler and there was a leak but this time when I called him, he just never came back to fix it and left me with the problem. I'm a pretty handy woman but plumbing just isn't my specialty especially steam pipe fitting. Fortunately, I was able to have a person I work with come and fix it with his tools.
