CAUGHT THEM SCAMMING CONSUMERS AND BILLING FOR SERVICES THAT DONT EXISIT!!! DURING A COVOD-19 CRISIS!!!??? EVEN AFTER OUR STATE GOVENOR ADVISED US OF SCAMS DURING THESE TIMES!!! TOTALLY SHAMEFUL!! THEY LOST MY TRUST AMD THE COMMUNITIES TRUST!!!! SHAME IN THEM! The local authorities, along with NJ Comsumer Affairs has been informed.

Diagnosis determined that it was a motherboard issue, and not cost-effective to repair.

WOW.......... What a warm, friendly and knowledgeable group of guys! Brad is top dog. If it's broken, they will fix it. Don't believe your phone carriers or any type of technical support you have for your devices. I had purchased a laptop awhile ago which I took out Geek Squad service for 2 years....big mistake... This group of professional experts help me more in a half hour than the 8 years spent with the "Geeks Squad"!  My husband and I purchased our first Kodi 2 weeks ago..... Loved it so much we came back and that quick, it had been upgraded to another device called Q. Both devices have paid for themselves with saving us money on our cable bill and we get to also see all movies now out at the theater!. Customer service is the best I have ever had from any business. You won't be sorry purchasing or having your device fixed here.............UNLESS YOU GO SOME PLACE ELSE!

My laptop screen was shot, paid initially $40 to look at the problem. Ordered new part but the supplier sent the wrong part # more than once. After couple of weeks, received the part and was promptly installed. 
The only caveat is that what I was quoted to replace the part and labor was different from the final bill.
For $750 laptop that less than 3 years old, was it worth replacing screen for $120 including labor. I think so. Could I have done it myself by ordering part from eBay. May be, because you need special screw driver for Sony laptop. It wasn't worth it for me to do it by myself. 
Overall, work was performed to my satisfaction with an exception of above re: pricing. The owner's son did honor the price for the labor that was quoted earlier. 

Our computer crashed.  Thought we lost everything/disaster! Brought it to UR Gadget Doctors.  Joe and Brad were fantastic.  Computer and software was old so we upgraded and brought the new computer to UR.  They were able to retrieve and transfer our data from the old hard drive to the new computer, including the e-mail address book.  The also installed upgraded software.  Thought the price was reasonable.  Service was fast and professional.  They followed-up with us a week later to see if everything was good.  We really appreciate that kind of customer service.  Definitely would go there again and have already recommended them to a friend.

The lock button on my daughter's (14 month old) iPhone quit functioning. This is a common problem with iPhones and iPads. I went to the local Apple store and talked to a 'Genius.' I was told that iPhones can't be repaired and that I'd have to buy a new phone for $200. There was no trade-in value because all of the switches don't work. I'd looked up UR Gadget Doctors on-line and gave them a call as I was leaving the Apple store. Joe Waldman, the GM, answered and said they could repair the phone while I waited for $80. He said he could do it now. It was a 15 minute drive, I walked in and they immediately started the repair. 30 minutes later, I walked out with a phone functioning like new.
The store is new, clean and spacious. The people I'd dealt with were professional and service was amazingly fast! UR Gadget Doctors will be my first choice for any phone or computer repair from now on. I was lucky to find them and thrilled with their service and price. I guess they did the impossible so I'll drop off one of their business cards to the 'Genius' that told me iPhones can't be repaired!

Two separate issues and stories, but the $260.00 covered both repairs:
I recently dropped my iPad 3 while walking - it bounced off the sidewalk, dented (badly) two corners and cracked the screen. It was still usable, but the glass made it hard to read some areas of the screen.
Second, I needed to replace the fans in my MacBook Pro and ended up removing many more things than necessary. Years ago I would have been able to put this back together myself, but with an "essential tremor" that gets worse every year, I found that I just couldn't manage the little tiny ribbon cables anymore.
I found UR Gadget Doctors on line and decided to give them a try. Went over on a Saturday afternoon, told them what I needed done and they were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They didn't even laugh when I showed them the laptop - at least while I was there :)
My iPad was repaired that same day; it took about an hour and all was well. I guess I didn't think through that there would not be genuine Apple parts available, so the new case doesn't have a "push-in" button. It doesn't bother me, but it certainly isn't as responsive as the original. It sometimes takes me two or three pushes to get it to do what I want (of course this could be related to the aforementioned tremor).
The MacBook was finished the following Monday and the cost was quite reasonable. I was happy with the results and the amount of time everything took.
