Mike was corteaus and on time arriving to provide his quote for painting our 2 storey stair well and all the trim in our 1750 sq ft town home. I liked his pricing compared to other painters and he was very easy to speak with. We ran into a little difficulty scheduling the interior paint job because we were experiancing some dry summer weeks and the team was busy painting exteriors. Once we shceduled the job Mike and Tom showed up on time and worked quickly and professionally. The job took two days. The first day both men were at our house the second only Mike. There were some missing parts of trim that we requested be touched up on the second day. The majority of the walls, very tall walls, looked good. However they didn't use primer even though it was virgin drywall, and we felt some areas higher up didn't have as much coverage as we'd like. The paint job was actually well done, no complaints with that. The ceiling repair was also well done, although not enough primer was used, as within only a few weeks the water marks were showing through again. The real problem was that they flatly refused to adequately cover my furniture and carpet with drop cloth, even though I repeatedly asked them to do so. I was told that they never use drop cloth and that it's never been a problem. They continued to refuse even when I walked around showing them all the paint they were getting onto the furniture. I eventually had to do it myself!! In addition to that, when they were moving my furniture they knocked over my wooden rocking chair and it fell onto the brick hearth and now has a nice chip in the back of it.
