Nu Look Roofing, Siding, and Windows

It went better than expected. The professionalism from beginning to end was amazing. Everything I was told would happen did and in the time that I was given. Job was completed in two days as they told me.

The roof was replaced prior to replacing the gutters. Two different crews did the work. I was told by the salesman and subsequently by the Sales Manager Tom that I would never have to clean my gutters again. Well that is not the case. I live in New Jersey, famous for the Sopranos and Pine Trees. Pine needles are not covered! Neither are "helicopters" which I don't have an issue with. These exceptions to the guaranty were not mentioned nor do they appear in the written guaranty that I have a copy of.
I would be very leery of doing business with Nu Look Home Design Inc. unless you get everything in writing before you sign anything.

This is an excellent company and our experience couldn't have been more positive. 
We dealt with Tommy (the sales rep); Tom (the supervisor); Mike (the project manager) and Darrin (the project coordinator).
We had our roof installation completed last week and we couldn?t be more pleased.  The entire process was very smooth, simple and professional with really good people to deal with.  The installation crew did a wonderful job all the way around from beginning to end, clean-up included.  
Tommy came out to give us an estimate.  He was very knowledgeable, friendly, down to earth, pulled no punches and was an all-around great guy.  He then spoke to Tom while he was with us and gave us a price we felt was good after comparing roofing costs in general. 
Tom got in touch with us as was promised to give us the information we needed to know regarding the project manager and the project coordinator. Tom was a super great guy to talk to. 
Mike came out to take measurements and touch base with us to let us know what would be expected on the day of the installation.
Since the original color we had chosen turned out not to be available in the type of roof that we had chosen, Darrin sent us pictures via email.  When we were not completely sure about those colors, he put together a care-package and sent it back with Tommy in order for us to make the best decision based on the existing colors of our home. Tommy got in touch with us within 24 hours and was very flexible and willing to come back again at our convenience so that he could show us the care package and his input was very much appreciated.
Mike came out in the morning of the installation and again later in the day to make sure all was going well.  This made us feel much better and more comfortable with the whole process.
It was truly our pleasure to work with each one of these individuals ? it?s amazing that Darrin, Mike, Tom and Tommy are all at the same company ? each one of them is just as great as the other!!!
Darrin was right, when the installation was completed, we did go out multiple times to look at our new roof and say ?WOW!?  (We?re still doing so) A couple walking by actually took the time to stop and tell us how great our roof looked and how the crew did a great job.  We don?t know them, but we offered Nu Look?s phone number and, unbeknownst to us, they had already asked the crew for the company?s phone number earlier in the day. 
Should anyone we know inquire about a new roof, we will be most certainly be sending them Nu Look?s information.

First, just getting the estimate done was a hassle in itself, it was rescheduled a couple of times, and finally a manager came out himself to do it. He was knowledgeable and helpful and assured us we would not have the same issues going forward with the installation. 
We went ahead and signed the contract with the date of install to be ASAP and weather permitting. More than month later, we still had not heard from anyone with an install date, so I had to call THEM to ask when it was going to be installed. It then got installed the following week. 
The installers were polite and did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. They, and the guy overseeing them, were the only part of this company that I could give a good grade to!
There are too many companies out there that provide excellent product AND customer service to waste your time with Nu Look Home Design. I would absolutely not recommend them.

We were looking to replace our 15-year roof after 17 years, to preclude issues this coming winter...local ad trumpeted "50% off to keep our guys busy" so we checked it out, turned out they also have an office in South Jersey that we worked with.  Found their approach to be professional and not high-pressure; reps were poised and confident, and knowledgeable.  Priced out, with all the upgrades, to a figure I have since learned from neighbors is pretty comparable to local "going rates."  One negative I have is they weren't proactive in scheduling the job, I had to call them to do so...this may have been due to our having indicated we weren't in a hurry as long as it was done "pretty soon."  Job was promised as "one day, maybe a stop back the next morning, depending..." and stipulated an 8-830  arrival time. I left for work at 925 on day 1 and they hadn't yet arrived, possibly due to frost the previous overnight (Frost on roof is a no-go for a working surface).  Once there, they ripped off the old roof down to the wood, installed new underlayment and shingle, flashing, etc.,  collected waste in municipal dumpster curbside that was picked up within 90 minutes of job completion on Day 2 (noontime).  Clean up was  99.2-100% effective, minimal wrappers leftovers...roof looks great.  Crew was thorough, team leader kept me informed and asked me to walk the site with him to make sure their work and cleanup were to my standards, which they were.  He put me on the phone with his boss before leaving the jobsite to make sure that I was satisfied with their work.  Would recommend anytime.
