TREE-TECH, INC. is a full service tree care firm that sets the standard of beauty, quality and professionalism in New Jersey for over 40 years. TREE-TECH provides a complete range of tree- related services including general pruning & shaping, tree removal, deep root fertilization for trees & plants & insect & disease control. Rob Finnesey & James Bellis are the founders and owners of TREE-TECH, INC; a Mt. Freedom based firm. Their crews undergo extensive training and are managed by experienced certified arborists. Licensed by the State of New Jersey and Certified Tree Experts, TREE-TECH initially has made a name for itself by caring for trees in Harding Township, Somerset Hills, Morristown and Mendham areas. TREE-TECH has grown to employ 100 people and to establish additional local offices in Bernardsville, West Orange, Princeton, New Brunswick, Westfield, Bound Brook, Mt. Lakes, and most recently, Teaneck. Tree-Tech has assisted over 25 golf clubs and worked extensively with the United States Golf Association and the PGA.. Over the years, the company has added a subsidiary company, LAWN-TECH. The Turf Division provides a full range of turf management services including weed and insect control, fertilizing and core aeration & seeding.

We are in Morris Township, NJ and we had a bad customer service experience. We used Tree-Tech once before in late 2015 and had a great experience so went with them again with no competing quotes in Sep2020 to do tree pruning in our yard. The experience in 2015 was professional and enjoyable. This was primarily due to the arborist who consulted with us in 2015. The experience in 2020 was exactly the opposite. The arborist we dealt with was not professional in any of our 3 interactions: 1 - Quote 2 - Day of work 3 - Follow up for review of damage incurred Would not use them again based on this recent experience. No customer service focus demonstrated at any point in the recent service delivery life cycle so even if you have used them before and had a pleasant experience so much of the customer experience is driven by the perceived face of the company (the person you interact with face to face on several occasions during the process). Trimming/pruning trees is basically a commodity service offered by many local providers, the differentiator is the customer service aspect and this company seems to have lost it, at least in the Morristown, Morris Township, Randolph area.

For 7 years not bad, however we have had major issues this year. Every time we call we get the same bitchy lady on the phone. Rude and unresponsive. I have lost nearly half my front lawn because of lack of water. My water bill is thru the roof and they don't have the time to call me back. Not sure if this business was recently sold. But do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere

We completed a major replanting last spring and were concerned that we didn't lose a lot of brand new, very expensive trees
and shrubs but also we had relocated quite a number of older plants. I am very pleased with the service and have used
Tree Tech for many years for both major tree removal (especially after Hurricane Sandy) and to prune, cable and deep root
feed a lot of beautiful older trees. John Rafalowski is an amazing arborist and really knows what he is doing! I would trust him completely with whatever he recommends.
