It was a bad start from the beginning, but we were in a jam and needed someone immediately and they agreed. They were suppose to show up in the morning, but did not come until after the sunset. They did the work in the dark and they left nails all around the driveway. They used the cheapest shingles (probably a tear off from another job) and have caused numerous problems because of that.Last summer I had another company (Carlson Bros.)which fixed some of their mistakes. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from American Home Improvement.

The man that came to do the estimate seemed very nice but the we had to negotiate the price because they were asking too much. Once we agreed on a price, the job was suppose to be done early in the day but they arrived just before sundown. I did not understand how they could do a proper job without sunlight, but they hooked up some lights and worked anyway.
It is now a few years later and we are having leaks in other rooms, that their shingles are covering over. We had a home inspector come to check the roof, as an unbiased opinion, and we also had a reputable roofing company come and give us an estimate. It is confirmed by both parties that they did not use quality shingles, as their were a few cracked ones where water must be seeping in from. They also put the roof vent on backwards so the flashing is upside down, which is letting water seep in to another area of the house and then finally, instead of removing the satellite dish and reinstalling it properly over the new shingles, they left it as is and coated the shingles on top of the satellite base and then used a very large amount of some sealant around the top. This did not prevent water from seeping in. They did a very poor job and cut corners causing a great deal of damage inside my home. Many of the ceilings have to be repaired in the upstairs of my home. Now who should pay?

Window Service
Complaint! The men who installed the windows bought red paint from the factory on the soles of there shoes into my house. I was told to have the carpets cleaned and they would pay for this service. Carpet cleaning bill was 203.00 and not all paint came out. Mailed a copy of carpet cleaning bill and have called many times for the payment, always told its in the mail or should have been sent. Today is 10/15/2008 carpet was cleaned 7/11/08. Still no payment. Not very friendly either. I guess I got what I paid for Cheap windows and very cheap service.
