Mike Kelly Painting & Powerwashing

We needed to find a painter to paint our new addition including walls, cathedral ceilings and moldings. We looked up and found Mike Kelly was highly recommended. As our room project was not that large, Mike was able to fit us into his very busy schedule in between a couple of projects which we were very appreciative of. His crew came out the day promised and on time and took two days to transform our room. It now looks beautiful and we could not be more happy than we are with the work that was done. Mike and his team are very professional and courteous and kept our house very clean during the process. Will go to Mike again and again for our future painting projects and would recommend Mike Kelly to anyone looking to hire a painter for their next project !

We've engaged Mike Kelly and his team for about 10-12 years. When we moved to our new home - we knew who to call. Mike and the guys were very flexible as we needed to do some parts of the house immediately and others shortly after in order to get ready for the movers. The house is about 35 years old, so we wanted to make sure the walls were smoothed properly and they did a great job! Their work ranged from detail work on a lot of newly installed trim, baseboard and crown to doors, windows, walls, ceilings and more.
We've recommended Mike Kelly to friends and family in the past and will continue to do so in the future!

In preparation of the job, Mike and I discussed my window air conditioners and the possibility of water entering the house. When the workers showed up for the job, they decided that they would be careful around the units instead of covering them up. So the job went on as proposed. When one of the workers got near the air conditioner unit water flew into the window and blew up my curtains resulting with a lot of water now puddling on my Living Room floor. That wasn't so much the problem. The same worker continued to be negligent with power washer gun around my electrical service. The power washer forced water into the main service entrance cable, meter pan and service head. The force of water traveled through the service cable and soaked my main electrical panel with a significant amount of water. This fused the buss bars on some of the circuit breaker to the panel and cased the breakers to burn up. The whole electrical panel, cable and service entrance had to be replaced at a price tag of $3050.00. You would think that's okay that Mike Kelly's insurance would pay for the damages. Not so. His insurance is through The Hartford and Mike Kelly is adamant that he is not at fault. Well his employee is at fault and Mike Kelly was no where around at the time of the incident. Mike Kelly needs to own up to the negligence of his employee while under no supervision and pay for the costly damages done to my home.
