Last July we moved into a 40 year old house that needed significant electrical upgrading. Since then we?ve used Horan on several occasions to correct old aluminum wiring issues, install high hat lighting, add switches, etc. Pete along with the office staff and the field crew have been a pleasure to work with. Phone calls at the office are answered promptly, work is scheduled conveniently and pricing is reasonable and fair. We?ve been happy with the quality of the work and have had no issues with the work performed. Next on our list is upgrading our electrical service panel. I would recommend Horan for any electrical work without hesitation.

We lost power to our heating systems and Pete responded promptly, identified the problem and fixed it in minutes. He has since helped us on several occasions and will be our go to for any electrical needs.

Terrific. Working with blueprints and individuals which are two totally different species Horan Electric does everything from soup to nuts and are really nice on top of it all.

The attic exhaust fan (flush, roof mounted) was not working. Was able to get appointment fairly quickly (within 2 weeks).Requested that motor be repaired if possible; if not, replace fan.The roof on our condo is very steeply pitched, with no easy access from the trap attic. The tech who came out was phobic about the climb (I don't blame him), and called Mr. Horan to come help.He was there within 1/2 hour, and the new fan was replaced and working within 2 hours.
My only glitch on the entire process is that I was not quoted a price for the work to be done before the fan was installed, and no one told me what the cost would be when they left.
The approximate cost for the fan itself is appx. $140 (as far as I could tell, as no box with the brand and model nor was a bill with specifics ever sent to me).
My take away is that Horan is prompt, technically professional, but deficient in informing their customer. I don't question the price itself due to the difficulty of installation, but I would not have them work for me again without insisting on an estimate.

They are excellent. They were prompt and polite. They did an excellent job and weren’t horribly priced.

I knew of this contractor but never used them until that day. My power was completely out and the house was cold, so timing was critical. Peter Horan arrived about an hour after I called. He started cleaning up the tree that fell (which was not his job as an electrician) and called in his bucket truck, which arrived about an hour later. Quickly thereafter, the power was restored and the wires re-attached to the house. I was thrilled with the reponse time, professionalism and his attitude, as well as his very nice 2 assistants. They even cleaned debris in the driveway, which they did not have to do. I was concerned about payment since the work came together so quickly and he just old me he'd send a bill in the mail. Pretty extraordinary for an emergency response to a first time customer! I had to bug him for the invoice, which I received 2 weeks later and paid the next day.
